Sup fellas,

I don't know if I'll ever get around to adding a Nitrous Express kit to the Z. Just bought another toy that requires no modification to haul a$$. Guess I better spread the parts around....but all I wanna do is buy parts for this....

Looks much better than the old GSX-R's. It looks a lot like my 600RR (I guess that is why I like it).
I would take that over the spray!

I would take it over the spray too....And I did!

I'd have to agree with you on the look. They changed them up a bit. The bike doesn't look as bulky as previous gixxers. This is my first Suzuki...I had a 01 R6 before. After I replaced 2nd gear in the R6, I swore I'd never buy another Yamaha. $1300 for the repairs which should have been picked up by Yamaha. It happened to thousands of R6 owners. Gotta love the new exhaust setup....just like MotoGP. The stock pipe is loud as hell!

NIce that does look sweet.

Give it 3-4 months and you'll wanna add spray to the bike too.

Thanks for the compliments!
Probably won't add nitrous (even though I love spray). If I want a little more power, I'll do the typical modifications (PC, pipe, cams, etc).....If I want alot more power, I'll get a gixxer 1000. 126hp @ the wheels is plenty for me right now. If I can power her up in 2nd without bouncing her, I'm good. And the 750 will do just that!

You don't sound that old (either that or I sound old too), I was in the service in 97. I will enjoy! Only 40 more miles to go on the "mototune" break-in. It'll be fun after that!

Thanks Alberto....you could of had one, but you went turbo on the Z. The cost is about the same. Got this bad boy for $10,700 out the door. With turbo kit, install, tune and accessories....it equals out.

Just got my fender eliminator in the mail and put it on last night...although I don't know how well the paper tag will hold up on it, but who cares. My plates should be on the way next week. Also ordered a crash kit (frame, bar ends, and swing arm sliders)....hopefully I'll never have to see how good they work! Yellow pin stripes on the wheels & tank pad and that will be it until they come out with a decent looking exhaust for the motoGP style exhaust that's on the bike now. Once break in is done, I'll let you guys know how it feels to smoke a Z on ONE wheel! hahaha. Later guys!

I know I thought about doing a bike and turning into a 2 wheel drag *****. Insurance for a 22yr old on any sportbike in MD is INSANE Thats what led me away for now. In a year or two Ill look into them again. Id love to see more pics of your bike man...

Yea, insurance will get ya. When I had the R6 I had it financed and insured through my step father (he was in his late 40s then)....insurance was $850/yr full coverage.

Financed the Gixxer through Suzuki's CC which doesn't require full coverage cuz its an unsecured loan (just like a CC purchase). Paying $545/yr for liability and theft. Both ways work good for young ppl. I'm 27 now and bike insurance for a sportbike is still high. First quote I got was $6400/yr. Best quote for full coverage was $1200/yr. Not bad and I will eventually upgrade to full coverage, but with a new Audi A4, 03 350Z and 06 Gixxer750....my funds are running on the low side. I'll post some more pics when I get home tonight if its not raining. Gotta wipe the sticky white **** off the seat though....This bike does it to me everytime. lol

Default Here you go Alberto

Here are some pictures....these were taken with my camera phone, so bear with me. Gotta love the stock exhaust. Haven't found an aftermarket one that looks better with the exception of the GP EVO by yoshimura. Sad part is, its only available in europe with a price tag of 959 pounds....which is roughly $1800. Put on the fender eliminator a few days ago....looks much better. I hope the paper plate holds up!! lol

Thanks Nowell. Depending on where you are, winter prices are usually better. Here in Houston, its better to ride in the winter than it is in the summer. Gets way too hot here. Prices don't go down much in the winter and with this bike being newly redesigned, if you don't get one now, you won't get one at all. I was at the Honda dealer yesterday looking at lids, and they had the CBR1000RR on sale for $9999. MSRP is $11,xxx...that's a hell of a deal. If you want a 06 Gixxer 750 like mine, you won't get a price break at all.

I have read several. One was 10.47....another was 10.21. A rider on the gixxer board threw a pipe on and was hitting 9.90's. Not bad for 129hp @ the wheels (160hp claimed at the crank).

My new lid came in...Now I have two Arai helmets and a HJC. Shogun Crash Kit should be here today and I ordered some new gel grips with GSXR on them. Only have 320 miles on her now.
