Consider upgrading your tires next. I went with Nitto's and nitrous feels like it kicks harder now.

Last week I ran my 150 shot on my BF G. DRs. That was one hell of a ride didnt brake loose.

I kept trying to get it to spin just to much grip. Taking my nitrous setup out this weekend. Putting in the built block and Turbos.

Ya, a 150 shot sounds like it would be a lot of fun. What size tires are you using though. You'd think for sure with that kinda power it would break loose a little.

I'm getting my car tuned on the dyno this friday. They said they should be able to tune it nicely with a 125 shot on my stock ecu. I will post my reslts and dyno when I get done. a 125 shot probably gives you like 100 hp to the wheels I would guess right? How much torque though?

I believe if you have NX that the shot number is to your wheels.

You will need a new rear axle... HUGE slicks... Bunch of little axle modifications that make it not streetable.... etc etc

The car would be fast... but we already have a z running 6's

too much complication for me. Could just buy a ferrari or porsche for the amount of money you would have to invest.

funny, but there are people with over 600whp on this forum, and they dont need axles. But i guess if your looking for a rediculous launch, the axles might get a little mad about that.

So where the link to this Z that runs 6's! You cant just mention that and not atleast show a pic, or a link. Help us out!

Sounds like a nice setup. I just bought a kit being sold on here, and now i am thinking i will need new tires =( I have the KDW2's also, but 245/35/19 and 255/35/19. I am thinking about at least getting 2 wider ones for the rear?

ok i know for some of yall this might be a stupid question but if i were to put 75 shot jets in a nitrous set up on the Z, would i have to retard timing or put race fuel in the mix in order to not risk blowing my motor, or am i better off with 50 shot jets? just out of curiousity...

ECM will pull timing on its own.

It can pull up to +/- 4 degrees. which is like up to 120-150 shot.

I am restating what is been said tons of time before, and I claim no responsibility. (that sounds all lawyer-y and makes no sense)

Just JUICE it!!!

+1...most nitrous companies say to retard 2 degrees timing for a 75 shot - so our ECM will have no problem doing that. *From what I've read, a 50 shot wouldn't add enough...knowing myself, I'm going to have a hard time not throwing in 100-shot jets after the first month.

I have a 100 shot NX setup using UTEC. I have 3 degrees of timing pulled.

How many of us are 100 shot or greater on the stock ECU? If this applies to you, please post shot / length of n2o use.

FWIW, I've heard that 1 degree of timing should be pulled per 50 shot.
