Default Nitrous bottle location (pics)

I had some time today, so I started the install for the bottle. I had been wanting to put the bottle behind the driver's seat (Bose subwoofer location) and knew that it was big enough to fit a 10lb bottle, but couldn't figure out how I would mount it...I ran across someone's thread from '03 that had hung the bottle from top - it works! (I had hope to get the bottle pointing more forward, but that's the best I could do with the space.

Here's some preliminary pics of the install...most of the time was taking out the middle consul and rear paneling.

I'll add more pics of the install as I finish it...I've been busy at my new job so it'll probably take me a few weeks to finish everything.

That is awesome! But PLEASE install a blow down tube should the pressure rise from a heater that stays on or from the heat. If not, one malfunction and that will be the biggest boom known to the Z world---->N20 bottle right over your gas tank = OWNED

Good call Alberto - I noticed during the install that the gas tank was directly under the N2O tank...I was already planning on running a blow-down tube b/c I go to the drags and for safety.

As of now, I plan to run both the blow-down tube and the N2O line right over the fuel tank so that I can attach the N2O line to the fuel line rail under the car.

Hey Peter:

That is one stealthy looking bottle install. Great job. Can't wait till the setup is complete.

thanks for the comps guys...took me about 3.5 hours - I removed alot of the interior to get it in there - so far, the interior is still sitting in my garage b/c I'm working on running all of the wiring to the dash...just hope I can put everything back together! (I didn't realize at first how many wires I'de have to run: purge, heater, opener, tps/window switch, digital pressure gauge,...)

Absent taking out the spare, n2o roadsters are very limited. At least I have a LITTLE trunk left!
