anyone can buy ****ty HUD property cheap anywhere dumbass that doesnt say **** about ohio....and for the record nitrous is nitrous, the only difference with the horsepower rate is the shot that is ran...nx jets run larger than the zex jets...if you put nx jets in a zex kit you will make the same amount of power as with the nx...you must just use some magic nitrous or sumin in your set-up...

1 - do a search. plenty of ppl have done a dyno comparison on different kits. matter of fact, I saw a post about the edlebrock kits being dynoed and then converted to NX. dyno charts said it all.

Learn to read.

NX has poor atomization not poor power and atomization is far more important. Well if you want to have a engine last and not explode.

Here, I will help you out with finding dyno charts..
P.S. Same jets where used on both nozzles this is a prime example of NX's poor atomization. Its funny how on the same jetting the NX runs so lean compared to the NOS.

P.S. I never claimed you didn't buy 3 houses or whatever the hell you bought. I simply stating its not near where I am located.

well, NOS jets and NX jets are different. they wont work in each nozzle, so its hard to compare the two jets.

if i had that dyno graph, i would just change out the NX fuel to a 34 and have a lot more power...

its hard to compare the two kits, as long as its consistent, you can adjust it, which it is....

well thanks for the responses. i did post this before i actually learned alot about the two different kits through some experience.

I've come to my own decision... by help of alot of info on the forum, and setting up a NOS kit on my own with a buddy, and then setting up my NX kit. My conclusion. NX all the way. I wouldn't go NOS even if it saved me 100 dollars. Quality of parts/install process/ and overall proformance, NX is the winner.

Seems NOS has sacrificed name/popularity for quality parts. Anyway. thats my conclusion. thanks for the 2 cents all.

Fishey please stop stealing threads to start fights with old school. thanks

Good to hear bro. Keep us posted on how everything works out. Glad to see another guy on here doing his homework before buying a kit. Be safe and have fun!!!!

Fishey & MikeE....Enjoy your short stay at my350z.com. I'll be making another trip to Ohio shortly. Better watch your mouth, or I'll buy your house, evict you, sell it, and use the profit to send your butts to finishing school. Maybe then you'll learn some manners.

First, I don't see why I need to watch my mouth. I disagree with you and your opinions. I have had NX and a few diffrent brands of nitrous on my car. I have put my engine on the dyno and done per cylinder A/F readings. I can tell you that mixture on the shark nozzle isn't as good as other brands. Even the best fogger setups worked poorly in my car due to the intake manifold design. Also, keep trying to bring in how much money you have into the thread. I honestly don't care because I am quite happy with my own income level. Next time you are in ohio hit me up and we can race our cars however you like.

That comment was directed more so at your buddy, MikeE. Income was never an issue. I was simply clowning you guys and that seemed like a good come back. Your last post was your best. Mentioning what you think is best is fine. That's why we're all here. Constructive critism is welcome, but straight cut downs for ppls misfortunes is not. Now, back to the subject....

Lets see some pics of the install when you get done bro!

Holly sh*t....that long? Better to do it right the first time, so taking your time has to be a good thing.

First time I did a nitrous install it took me roughly 6-8 hours. Second time, it took 4. Wiring takes the longest. I think the 75 shot jets that NX provides makes a good A/F ratio....once you jump to 100, 125, & 150...you have to play with the fuel jets to get it right. Look on my thread, "Install Complete"....Jeremy (Audible Mayhem) posted jet sizes for each shot. Good stuff. Keep us posted!

aight guys. its finally done!!! lol. I will be posting a new thread with pics and all that stuff. But as for now i have a quick question. I have the 50 sht jets in right now just to test it was working properlly and i was gonna go down to the dyno tomorrow to check the A/F's on the 75 shot. cause thats what i wanna run for now. If its running fine on the 50 shot should i just switch to the 75 jets and screw the dyno (save 80 bucks) or should i just go down tehre and do a couple pulls and make sure that its not running lean?

Buy an NX setup. Run a 52 N2o jet and a 31 Fuel jet.

Go out and fry the tires!!!

You should be ok. I was talking to Mark @ SGP and he was telling me 75 shot jets are perfect for the Z. Good A/F ratio and it doesn't tax the motor too much. No tune needed.
