Nope, and as someone else pointed out, nitrous alone isn't flammable. Having the purge nozzle forward of the intake area can be disaterous if any significant amount finds it's way into the engine. This would be even more likely if you have a CAI/relocated air filter.

Like I said, it may never happen, but it's not a good practice.

Default dyno results

I got the dyno done today. Seems a little low but the car was heat soaked...did a few runs (NA and nitrous NX 75 shot).

mods include:
-MD 3/8" spacer
-UR pullies
-gutted cats
-Injen short ram
-rear wheels: Work Cr Kai 18X9.5 w/ BFG 275/35/18's

NA: 243 HP, 216 TQ A/F ~14 decreasing to 13
75 shot: 303 HP, 282 TQ, A/F ~11.8

I had the window switch set to 3.3K to 6.5K (You can see the power jump and the A/F drop @ 3.3K rpms)

--Overall I'm happy with the results mainly b/c I was able to make sure my A/F's for N2O was safe.

*sorry about the poor pic...don't have a scanner so I had to take a pic of it.

Nice setup,
How did you wire up your Dynotune's TPS/Window switch? I know some tps switchs dont work unless it can read in 1cyl mode. Im starting to put my N2o kit to gether and have NX parts.

The blow down tube was hard to route...if I would have kept the kit, I would have gotten a flex line to route it out of the inteior. (there's an opening in that small compartment to service the gas tank, but there's enough room to route it out.

I sold the kit b/c I wanted to focus on AutoXing...N2O isn't allowed in any of the AutoX classes, and $$ was tight. If i had extra $, I would have kept it for sunny days and drag racing...too bad I never made it to the drags ot see what kind of 1/4 mi times I could put down w/ it.

lol - no duct tape, I used wire loom...it's the perfect size and hides all the lines. I was going for stealth.
