A good shot is 100 or 125.. 75 you wont really feel it much, 150 might be pushing it if you havent done your research..

if you go with a nitrous kit and a moderate dosage make sure you also install idiot proof items (wot switch and window switch to name a few!) to ensure you don't *** anything up! also 100 shot you should change ur plugs to one step colder and also retard your timing to compensate the a/f ratio.

i will set you up with all the parts you need as well when you go to do it.

DONT BUY CHEAP PARTS, your engine is way way more expensive to fix...

100 shot is what 90 % of people on here are running, if installed correctly, you will not have any issues

its going to cost you anywhere from 800-2000 dollars to do it right.

dude it aint bad but a 75 shot your engine should easily be able to handle it 100 shot i think is pushing it but all nos systems now a day spray through your intake about 6inches from the throttle bodies so when you let of the gas nitrious wont get into your engine any more i would advise you to get a idiot proof one like on that is set for your rpm range that will only spray in your powerband instead of the push button that you see in the movies or the full throttle that sprays when you have your foot to the ground but they r safe and there is no extra wear on the engine say like a super charger or a turbo which is always on and always putting strain on your motor unlike nos where u have it there if you want it so the rest of the time your not killing your motor

That is not correct, if you even have your air filter close to your IC and you have a spray bar kit, at idle, that nitrous is going to get into your motor. The motor has to be sucking in air to run, at idle it is still drawing a lot of air, if there is nitrous in that air it is going in your motor and bad things are going to happen.

edit....if you want to do a sick setup (my ideal setup without a built motor) this is how i would do it.

You are going to need some really good solenoids.

Electronics...UTEC (can progressively control the solenoids, tps switch and window switch functions), a fuel pressure safety switch, Wideband A/F display, nitrous pressure gauge and a bottle heater that turns on and off depending on pressure.

1st stage: 75shot, progressive to come on gradually(.5 sec or so) to eliminate the "Nitrous Hit" so your car will last longer on it. This will not be available in 1st gear.
2nd stage: 100shot, also progressive but this stage will be on a dedicated fuel system with C16 or some other high octane fuel. Also, not available in 1st gear and possibly 2nd depending on tires i am running.

The window switch will come on at 4k probably, and shut off at 6500, rev limiter will be 7200....so i will be short shifting, but it's better than tapping the rev limiter on the hose, that will suck.

UTEC can already control TPS and Window switch function from what i understand, so those additional electronics will not be required. This will allow someone to run a great all motor tune and then have it automatically back the timing off and all that when the nitrous system activates.

I am probably not remembering a couple things but this is the meat of my ideal kit.
