Default Install complete!

Well its finally done. NX kit with purge, DynoTune Nitrous TPS/Window switch, pressure gauge, and every jet from 35-150 shot. Everything is hidden including the purge and switches. Only thing that is exposed at the moment is the PTP fuel tap and the steel braided line going from that to a hole in the firewall. As soon as I get more wire loom, it'll be perfect. The nozzle is on the bottom of the intake pipe out of view. Haven't popped the Z's cherry just yet. Put in 2 step colder NGK iridium plugs. Not a good idea to spray on platium!! The plugs are expensive....$12.50/ea. Whatever happen to $2.99? Had been testing the window switch with a test light to make sure functions were operating properly. Put all the solenoids in the cover...opposite the battery. Pretty slick. Pictures to follow when I have more daylight.

Just picked up a AAM plenum spacer from a guy on here. UTEC to follow in the next month or two. SGP said they'd tune the Z using the UTEC and their dyno for around $300. I only have the 75 shot jets in as of now. Will let you guys know how she feels tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure I'll up the shot in a day or so. hahaha.

What jet sizes has everyone been using for 100 shot and 125 shot? When I ordered the jets they didn't have 125...just 100 and 150. Anyhow, let me know guys. Later!

looks good.

you might want to think about adjusting the siphon inside your bottle because of the way you have it setup. you might have problems with your system being jumpy when the bottle gets to about 25% full.

no heater?

Heater??? I'm in texas...a heater would probably cool it down with the temps we get here.

We'll see once I get down to the end of the bottle. Sometime's its ok.

you will have to play with the fuel jets to get it dialed in perfectly.

The purge is sitting on the nitrous solenoid in the master cylinder compartment and the line is going through the trim on the firewall up to the corner of the windshield/hood. You can't see it at all. When I purge, it comes right up the windshield close to the driver's window.

Well, sprayed on the Z the other day. Its already time to throw in 100 or 125 shot jets. 75 isn't much of a kick. Then again, I'm use to riding on 2 wheels, so almost anything will seem kinda weak.

Picked up my AAM plenum spacer. Missing some parts in the box, so I'll have to wait to get those before I put it on. UTEC at the end of this month. Then 150 shot jets will be put in and the Z tuned at SGP. Hopefully be where Jeremy was with his kit. Then its back to the Gixxer for full exhaust, Power Commander USB, and new rear spring/shock (ohlins baby!). Good thing though, the Z has kept me busy while I wait for more parts to become available for the new Gixxers. Still debating whether or not to convert the Gixxer to a track bike. Road to work this past friday and 3 ppl tried running me off the road. They don't respond to the horn, but a big boot in their door sure makes them wake up. lol.

Just thought I'd update you guys.

DC sport headers came in.

AAM spacer is here, waiting on parts.

Zex cigarette lighter bottle warmer came in and installed.

My window was acting up and then quit working, motor came in, installed it Saturday. Window is all good now.

UTEC ordered and in the mail. Should have everything installed and tuned this week if the UTEC gets here in time.

I'll update everyone with dyno charts n all probably in a couple weeks.

Holla!
