And buying the obvious things like pressure gauge, etc.. Or

https://www.amazon.com/Nitrous-82220...0z+nitrous+kit

Which is made specifically for the 350z, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra $200 for what it's offering. Any input into the two, and what more I'll need to buy with either recommended kit?
Get the Nitrous Express kit. Add the following to make it compatible with the 350z without cutting fuel lines:

The following are highly recommended:

Hi was looking at the same NX set up.

My thinking was to use the nitrousoutlet.com Window switch because it has a 1st gear lock out:

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/nitrous...t-feature.html

along with the aforementioned Nitrous Express 20421-10 Proton Plus Nitrous kit.

Besides the AFR gauge would this be an appropriate set up for an 04' DE?

here is an informative video describing the nitrousoutlet window switch, even if your not planning on buying this unit the video will give some insight to how electronic nitrous window switches/controllers work.

I just bought a zex nitrous kit for my 06' touring, automatic. (Yes I know, should've got a manual)
http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/82220.html
And i was planning on running a 75 shot on a stock engine, but I'm a noob when it comes to nitrous, so I don't really know what else I need to complete this set up. It says it "comes with everything you need", but I doubt that. I think a window switch' purge kit (I've heard the zex window switch wasn't that good), bottle heater, pressure gauge, control panel, and an electric bottle opener (if I wanna be cool haha) and 1 step colder spark plugs. Is there anything else I would need/ might not need. All help is appreciated. And if you know where to get them that'd be great too haha

Blow down tube/burst disc, AFR gauge, misc jets to fine tune your system, nitrous filter.

If you are planning to do it yourself, electrical tape, heat shrink, a good soldering gun/iron, a good stripping/crimping tool, extra electrical wires, teflon paste.

I like these wire strippers, they work well:
Amazon Amazon

I am sure there is more, but that is what I have for now.

Question Please advise

First let me thank you for a great post, i searched for a long time and could not find much on this.
i have a 2007 roadster touring stick, I have been thinking about doing NOS for a while. Not for track more for street use every now and then just to pull on cars and such .
That said, i want to do the the safest way possible. I also do not want to do the work myself.
1. Do you know of good reputable shops that would do this in dfw area? That is dallas texas area.
2. Can you give me a list of all the items I would need, i read the article but still feel lost. So, if you could just lise the items and the brands I would gr3atly appreciate it.
3. what gauges should i get to do this? I know bottle pressure is possibly one, and not sure about the bottle temp. Or fuel pressure, etc..
4. I do want the switch that electronically can be programmed to spray at certain rpm and wot. Can you give me the best settings for that?
5. Do i need to change the o2 sensors?
6. My ecu is uprev tuned, do not really have mush mods for the tune, just wanted the performance map. I have five maps, performance, oem, e85 I beleive, vallet, and anti theft. That said, i assume i would have to get a NOS map? Or would it work in any of the maps i am in?
7. i would still want a switch to enable and disable the system, correct?
8. Where do you suggest i place the bottle, not many options on a roadster. Is there a way i could avoid the trunk area? Maybe where the spare tire is? What do you recommend?

I know this is a lot i really appreciate you and your time and help

Most of your questions are very basic and have already been answered many times. Nitrous is simple and there isn't backnforth on opinions like there is for boost. The majority of the threads regarding nitrous, still hold up to this day with their info. Do some more research on nitrous overall before committing to nitrous, as it will cost $1.5-2k for a FULL setup new (n 1k+ for install?) + nitrous fills.. I pay $10/lb, which can add up very quick.

Id recommend looking into dynotune nitrous.

For shops....

PRT in lewisville, Steve khan owns it...used to be sought after for rx7's (mustang dyno, so expect lower numbers vs dynojet)

Alamo autosports in Arlington

Jotech in garland...prepare thy anus if you go here

Uprev in Austin
