Thumbs up ***Zex nitrous setup***

I bought the kit from "kostat26" on the forum, great seller btw.

Here are some of the pics.

I'm going to install it on Saturday and test it out to make sure everything works. I have a question though. I am not going to run a UTEC or window switch mainly because i'm buying other mods at the moment plus i've dealt with nitrous on other vehicles and I know how to use it.

On stock timing, I have read 100 shot is fine. I want to make sure this is correct because if it isn't I can retard my timing 2 degrees with the cipher diagnostic tool.

I want to get as much info about the Z on nitrous before I start the squeeze. I am going to be taking the necessary precautions ie; 1 step colder copper plugs, timing retard (maybe), race gas (for track use), and bottle heater.

I also need the jetting sizes for 100 shot. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

use the cipher to log all your runs on the street b/c you're gonna have to play with the fuel jets on 100 shot to keep from running super rich. 100 shot is fine for stock timing. Check the cipher for knocks if it has the capability. I went two step colder plugs, but 1 is fine. NGK Iridium. Be careful and have fun.

What jets did you use?

I'm thinking of doing 3 quick dyno runs to figure out what jets to ultimately use.

I have no clue....I kept the 75 shot jets in until I got my UTEC. Now SGP is tuning the car for 125 shot, so I dunno what jets they're using. Jeremy could tell you.

I'm running a 52 nitrous and 35 fuel, that should be a very rich 120 shot
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...ousjetcalc.asp
that should get you in the ball park on your jets

I believe its 52psi. Above average for other cars. I'd verify that as I was repeating what I heard.

I'm pretty sure the correct jets are 52N 31F....that's if the jets are numbered the same as NX.
