Colder Spark Plugs + Tightening Belts = Power Loss???
Yesterday I just installed colder plugs for my nitrous install, and I tightened my pulley belts since the cold weather has influenced them to squeak annoyingly. Anyway, I tighted the belts just a little to get rid of the awful squeak, and I've now notice, either my throttle response is a little less than it was, or I've lost power. Does this seem right to anyone? I have heard that switching to colder plugs will cause a minor loss in power, but I don't know if tightening the belts had anything to do with it?

You are supposed to lose power with one step colder plugs, but only 3-4 horses... if that. I recommend not over tightening your belts too. I did that and caused a small oil leak in my front main seal.

It makes sense that colder plugs would cause an HP loss. However, since I haven't replied in a few days, I have noticed some of the power coming back. Maybe my ECU had to recalculate changes or something.
