i looked at that too, but i decided on the NX wet kit.

i didn't like the looks of the edelbrock dyno graphs. look at what is happening on the high end of the rpm scale! the power shouldn't be falling off like that.

ok so the zex kit dosnt come with a bottle mouting bracket? also will the zex kit work with the nx maximizer? i cant believe there has been no talk about the maximizer it gets rid of your windoswitching crap and you can dial in when you want to spray.. also i hear you can couple it with a wideband 02.. this is my plan anyways.. untill someone tells me differently

I have a question for the nitrous guys..... with a wet kit, it would be a good idea to have the nozzle spraying directly into the neck of the penelum? I only ask because I'm about to run a 100 wet shot into the bottom of the neck of the aftermarket larger penelum and want to be sure there's not going to be a pooling issue..... thanks

you dont have to mount it on the plenum. mount it as close to the plenum as possible, but mount it on the intake. this way if you ever sell the plenum, you wont have to worry about a hole being in it. its also easier to remove the intake then to remove the plenum. pooling is a problem only when you mount the fogger far down in the intake (6inches+) where the shot has time to heat up and condense, or when bottle pressure is too low and the fuel does not vaporise properly. pooling can also happen when you leave nitrous in the main feed line for a long period of time and air builds up in it. this way when you spray, the fuel again wont vaporize properly and will pool and cause a backfire. a purge kit will take care of the air build up.

good luck.

The Venom system is not "entirely" dry because although it only has a single input nozzle the electronic control module taps into the injector harness and it modulates the injector signal making them to flow more fuel. So it can be sais that it's a "semi-wet" system. It's true that the Venom is a little expensive but it takes out the problem of jetting as the system uses pre-measured nozzles to inject the nitrous.

IMO the best is the ZEX system b/c of its simplicity and clean install.
It is the most basic and unreliable in my opinion Nitrous Express is your safest bet plus the have an awesome window switch

with a typical 100 shot....you'd probably be looking at being able to make about 3 full 1/4 mile passes before you start having major pressure drops by the end of the run.

If you are talking just little squirts of the juice around.....hard to say how long a 10# bottle will last.

How long a 10 lb bottle lasts depends on the ambient temperature, your nitrous jet size, the duration of your sprays, your nitrous line length, etc.

For the most part, QuadCam is correct in that you only get a few, full passes with a 10 lb bottle.

Confused over NA mods to bring starved front 2 cylinders AIRFLOW up a bit...anyone experience different results with stock vs Kinetix SSV or possibly thicker like APS for FLOW?
