My 1/4 mile times are wacked...Ill start off with my mods. I have a aem cold air intake, AAM plenum spacer, resonated test pipes,and a 75 shot of nitrous.
My best time with nitrous is 14.0 @105 , what it wrong here!? My bottle pressure is about 925, and i have a bottle heater, but it dosnt seem to help much. I dont know what to do, I am very depressed, and read on here that stock Z's should be high 13s to low 14s stock. and with nitrous high 12s to low 13s, im running a 75 shot and even get into the 13s! i am on 19'' rims but i dont see that slowing me down that much, I am on toyo tr1 tires, launching decent getting good traction, good shifts.

IMO the mph looks about right for a 75 shot, look at most poeple with the same mods n/a and they trap about 99-101mph (may be alittle off, just off the top of my head).
The et will come down when that 60ft comes down, hard to run good times with a 2.2-2.3 60ft.

 

Agree. Your 60-foot times are mediocre. 75 or 175 shot cannot makeup for a poor start.

Whats the A/F look like? If its running rich the car will fall on its face as bottle pressure drops during the run.

And bring that 60' down or your just "Whistling Dixie"

 

Dont have a wideband yet, that is the next thing i am purchasing within the next couple of days. Also i was thinking, my check engine light is on due to my test pipes, would that put my car into some kind of safe mode?

 

You'll know when your in safe mode! My guess, with the code, your running really rich. Get some non-foulers for the test pipes or fix the exhaust leak!

Dude, you have to get a w/b or get on a dyno ASAP. What if you're running 13-14 or 10-lower a/f You'll want to be between 12-11 a/f

 

get that thing on a dyno and get it tuned.....



you should trap around 107-110 depending on your current mods with a 75 shot. you must just be spinning every where..
