Where did you mount your purge kit?
looking to get ideas where most Z owners are mounting a purge kit.
Ive got the Zex single purge, and after the solenoid it just has a straight steel tube...can i bend it? can i extend it?
...with its fixed length and unable to bend it im really limited to where and how i can mount it...help!

please post PICS if you guys have them..
thats what i was thinking...i could mount the solenoid under all the black pastic right under the windshield and have the tube stick out from there.

I bought some black, high pressure 1/8" tubbing and compression fittings, and a T-fitting to run dual purge.
I mounted the ZEX controller and the purge valve inside the Master Cylinder compartment.
There is a hole in the bottom/back of the M/C compartment that I ran the tubbing through. There was another small hole in the fender wells behind each tire. I ran the tubes out the small fender well holes pointing straight out the sides, on the backside of the well nearest the firewall.
If you've ever wired a car stereo, you would remember the V-shaped clips that the screws twist into for the speakers. I took a couple of those clips, drilled them out just enough to fit over the 1/8" tubbing. I squeezed them with pliers and slipped one over each end of the tubing and back about 1 inch. The V-clips lock onto the hose when released so they hold the tube in place so the spray pressure doesn't blow the hose back through the hole.
So when I spray, it shoots out the sides from inside the fender wells.
My system is completely hidden. Even the switches are under the dash out of site.

He never said if he had manual or auto.
I've always used Auto's in drag racing for consistency, so I stuck with an auto when I got the Z.
At least the Z has more then 2-speeds.
