Default Newbie question

Hey, im kind of new to the whole nitrous thing..

I have an 07 g35 6mt

Mods:
stillen airbox with ztube
5/16 spacer

I also have a greddy evoII exhaust, megan racing headers, and pulleys on their way.

I want to start taking the car to the track and want to add some more power (without having to go FI yet)

I was thinking of a 50 shot wet kit.

Would I need to replace any internals or other parts to be able to run the nitrous?
Also, Ive been reading about the nitrous automatically engaging at WOT or at certain rpms... can I just have a button that i push instead, so its manual and have control over it?

You're not going to feel a 50 shot its a waste of time. I would go with a 100 shot.

A 50 HP wet shot should deliver 57+ lb/ft at 6,000 and 114lb/ft at 3,000 and 228 lb/ft at 1500.

Have you ever sprayed a 50 shot? Just because people say you don't feel it, it doesn't mean you don't really feel it. Trust me, you feel it.

Also, just because you read about people using 100 shot or whatever shot, it doesn't mean everybody should automatically start there. How many of you guys (everybody) actually can even drive your cars perfectly in NA form? I know I'm not perfect. Adding any amount of horsepower/torque isn't really going to help if you don't know how to drive. And before you say anything about how you've been driving for X amount of years, race at the track, do drag racing, etc, provide proof of your abilities - otherwise, you have no valid argument.

Jumping up 1XX in horsepower and torque should NOT be taken lightly - or even a 50 shot for that matter.

ALWAYS start low and slow increase. So, a 50 shot is a good increase you can start on.

@ you not feeling a 50 shot. You SHOULD feel an increase in torque at the specified RPM (with a window switch) or at the push of a button (push button). Are your jet sizes correct? I don't see how you can't tell. I sprayed less than a 50 shot for a while and felt a big increase when the nitrous kicked in.

If you have a window switch, start lower than the specified RPM and then let the engine speed climb. When it hits that mark, you'll feel a jump in torque.

At any rate, I always advise on starting low. Can't jump into the deep end without knowing how to swim.

I'm running a 1st stage 45 shot at 3300 RPM and I can tell you that when it hits in 1st gear the wheels break loose.
