Actually, rather than using Iridiums, it's better to use Copper, no? The part number for copper plugs from NGK is LFR6A-11.

BTW, please search harder next time.

^ That's just for searching spark plugs in the nitrous forum (without even knowing the part number).

So is that the one step colder set that your using? I will order these tomorrow. Whats the benefit of using a copper plug over the iridium or the stock kind?

Thanks guys for the overwhelming help.

Iridiums last longer, coppers are less $ - all depends on what you want

Ok I just wanted to know if the difference was a longer lasting plug vs the copper. Im going to order the copper plug tomorrow.

Hey did u talk to Ben about my gear install? Where going to put in on hold for a week or 2 untill I figure out the shim situation.

Also guys if the bottle pressure is to low around 575-600 can that hurt the engine by running to rich? I have a bottle warmer on order but without it I cant really get good pressure but wanna try out the system.

Ah.... you're the guy Ben is doing the 4.08 install for? Good stuff...he's good people!

Shim wise as I told him, there is no rhyme or reason to what shims you may/may not need. Alot of guys don't even need to get new shims, some people do though. Unfortunately there is no way to know ahead of time if you do need shims, and if so, what sizes. They are around $14 a piece or so, but most well stocked dealers either have them on the shelf or can get them quickly.

Plug wise we might have coppers too (have to check tomorrow am), or I'm sure you can score a set locally to you as well

We always keep 1 and 2 step colder iridiums in stock because we use them frequently and lots of people require them.

$49.95 for a set of 6 of either heat range.

LFR6AIX - NGK 1 step colder plugs for 350Z
LFR7AIX - NGK 2 step colder plugs for 350Z

What's the difference from 1-step coler plugs and 2-step colder plugs? They seem to have the same price.

1 step

2 steps colder is for VERY high boost levels. The temp range of the plug really has no bearing on the price
