Default Soon to be another Bottle Fed Z !!

Well i finally decided to try the nitrous scene out and bought a kit (nitrous outlet) from a really good friend of mine .. I have been doing a lot of reading and research and came to the conclusion that a 75 shot would be ok to start off with until i get a new clutch and engine management !! Luckily i have a close friend that has been running it in his altima SER for a couple years now and he's kind like my crew chief lol !
Safety wise for a 75shot i was thinking/going to; run 1 step colder plugs and there's a Dynotune 2 step window switch / WOT that looks like a good must have ..

A few questions i had were, is it necessary to go ahead and upgrade my fuel system ? Also i was looking at the Dynotune lean cut off switch and was curious if there's something else out there better for the money ? Lastly would it be better to get a plenum spacer ?

Right now i have Nismo Intake, headers, and exhaust and my car is an 04 6spd touring .. any questions feel free to ask !! i hope to get it installed within the next few weeks and get it on the dyno, i just wanna make sure i take my time and get it done right minus tuning and i'll be sure to take pics of the install :-)

Thanx again

you won't need to upgrade your fuel system. Don't forget a bottle heater and pressure gauge.

You can use the dynotune lean shutdown switch in narrowband mode since the "widebands" didn't get put in until 04.5 models.

Can someone explain what the wideband thing is, for the 2004.5 models? Mine is that model...

From what I have read, it is a very sound investment to get just to make the nitrous safer, especially for $100. You can run it in narrowband mode, but it is more accurate if you do wideband, which would mean getting an aftermarket wideband and finding a way to tap your cats, you can either drill a bung or buy hfc which have them already. I plan on getting the innovative and berks hfc to get it running wideband.

If you have an 04.5, you have factory widebands which register at 0-2v, which means you cannot use the dynotune a/f switch, since it can only read either in narrowband mode 0-1v, or wideband mode 0-5v, so it will not work with 04.5 and up which all have factory widebands.
