Default winter old nitrous

did a search and couldnt find anything. now i wouldnt think nitrous would go bad seeing as how it's just nitrogen and oxygen but my tank has been full all lwinter and im anxious to get it up and running again, so i was wondering if it's safe to spray the winter old nitrous i've got. it's got a fresh fuel tank and it's been through about 3 tanks now so everything is cleaned out and running good.

can i spray? or do i need to empty it and refill it?

Well, I'm not sure what you searched seeing how this was in the 370Z section where there was only 1 thread in the entire nitrous section (now moved to 350Z section).

Honestly, I don't know the answer, but I'd assume that it'd be ok for you to spray the contents of your bottle into the engine. Get the pressure up to the proper level and open the bottle manually to see if the nitrous oxide gas (should be white gas) flows out. That usually means that there still is some good nitrous oxide left in the bottle.

Check to see if the solenoids are working, try them out with the bottle closed and the engine not running, listen for them to click a couple of times. My other car sat for 4 weeks and I used the nitrous and the n20 solenoid got stuck open on the first spray, luckily I shut the car right off when I heard the hissing.

I was under the impression that he was talking about the nitrous oxide gas inside a tank, not the kit.

I've read that nitrous starts degrading around 3-4months, unfortunately, I can't find where I read that from, so I don't know how accurate that is.

Edit:
https://my350z.com/forum/nitrous-oxi...-go-stale.html

People on ls1tech said that nitrous has a very long shelf life. So take it for what it is.
