Default Adding a 2nd stage of nitrous

This may sound crazy, but I'm juggling the idea of adding a 2nd nozzle to spray an additional 35hp, activated by a button, for top end pull on the strip. I'll be running 110 octane fuel for the rest of the season if I go this route. What would the pros/cons of this setup be in comparison to just getting a nitrous mastermind to progressively bring on the power?

Even with exceptional tuning and race gas, running that additional 35 shot on top of the 100 is going to be extremely stressful on a stock engine.

Waste of money adding a second stage, just take a 125 shot all at once.

This is true. Blowing up a motor with 18K miles is a bit of a bummer. I wonder if anyone has a blown block for sale for me to build so I wont feel so stupid when I'm on the tow truck.

I really like your time on the 100 shot man, Im looking to run about the same with my 100 shot. I would say just bump it up and get it tuned for a 125, thats what im looking to do. Got any pics of your setup?

Actually, I've thought about this alot, myself.

Here's my thinking -- big shots are especially dangerous at lower RPMS, because you're spraying the same amount of nitrous/fuel for half the revs, plus the added factor that the engine is under higher load at lower RPMs. So I was thinking... some people have risked a 150 shot that kicks on for their entire window... why not, instead, run a 200 progressive or staged shot? Safer, and more power.

Am I crazy here?

To the OP, I think its a cool idea... sure a 125 might be fun, and cool, but if you wanna do it, do it! I would argue that its definitely safer, and personally for me, thats a huge concern (I'm about to go triple-check my dyno tune wiring today before filling the bottle for the first time, for example, lol)

Actually, I do. My gf just did an impromptu photoshoot for her photography class. I'll post a few here.

I try and keep my motor in the stratosphere before I spray, but sometimes, I get on it around 4k. I have no issues with tire spin in any gear, but any bigger shot down low is asking for trouble. It looks like I have some decisions to make.

Just spray a bigger shot (150 or under) with a good tune. Many have proven that up to 150 shot is ok for our engines, as long as you get a good tune.

I've been running a 150 (38 fuel / 67 N2O) since last September.
Had window switch problems and then controller problem, so I haven't got to run it for time yet with nitrous.
I'm using a UTEC with a professional tune, and all the safety equipment there is.
So far I've gone through 3 bottles on the 150, and still running good.
Hope to get a new Dyno run soon and double check the UTEC tune, then get it out to the track and see what happens.

Maybe a 125 shot is in the cards. I'll need to get to the dyno for before and after AFR's. Afterall, it is summer now. I have an April dyno right now.

I did all of the install myself. Yours however, is clean as hell. I may take a few cues from your setup this winter. First, I'm gonna need another bottle. I've been suffering from huge pressure loss this summer.
