^ Sounds like you installed it wrong, then. The ZEX kit is tricky but it can be and has been done. And if you pay for a $20 hooker, then you get a $20 hooker. What do you expect? Do it right and spend the necessary time/effort/money into it and it won't give you any issues.

 

i installed it myself worked great for 3 tanks then....i think i got the HIV

 

zex kits are super easy to hook up, its a nozzle and three wires with what ever fuel tap you want to use. I don't see how ppl hook these kits up wrong
