Default nitrous pressure gauge and nano nitrous system

in the past ive always run bottle heaters. thus an in cabin nitrous pressure gauge seemed like a requirement more than a convenience as the heater was just operated manually (no intelligent controls). im going to try the 3000psi nano nitrous kit for the first time with my current g35 n2o installation. if the nano kit keeps the bottle pressure at a set pressure, is there any point to running an in cabin gauge? sure id have one on the bottle regardless, so i could turn the nano kit off manually, purge the lines and then read actual bottle pressure if i was curious... but do i really NEED one in the cabin? the only thing that comes to mine is very warm weather... where the pressure rises. any thoughts on this guys?

I've read that you have to keep the nano bottle cool on warm days. The bottle has a sticker temp gauge on it.

I have a zex kit with the dyno tune control center ( heater, opener, purge, N2O )in my Nav cubby.

I have the dynotune digital pressure gauge with the dyno pressure activated heater which means the heater cuts off at what ever pressure you want.

I thought about getting the NANO, but figured now you have to find a place to fill that bottle and the 3000 bottle is almost the same size as your 10lb bottle so more trunk space is needed. I only spray at the track so the heater was better for me.

I have a G35 also, I'm the OP for the PPE header thread on driver.

oh hey! i thought your et looked familiar lol. im definately not going to be tracking my car much if at all. im tired of losing to HR cars so i thought the nitrous would be the best solution for the money while im finishing school. im gonna call nano today and see what they say. i live in a city where we see relative extremes of every season. the nano seemed like the best in all except for summer, but i am worried about it with very hot days in summer. ill see what they say. what your take on needing the gauge with the nano?

I would get one. I don't know what would happen on a hot day you can just purge from inside the car to the desired pressure then open the nano bottle. I think they put ice packs to cool it down also.

Google Nano Nitrous Reviews for some results.

You would only need it as a safety measure as you said. If you have a nano system, you don't need the pressure gauge to check pressure or anything.

Here is my thread on nano, might have some good information, haven't looked at it in awhile, lol:

No pressure gauge necessary, but it might be a good idea to have just in case.
