How safe is n2O from leaks/explosion/etc. If I go the n2O route, I'd be more concerned with m life, than engine life

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I'd like to hear what you all think.

 

N20 isn't flammable. If it leaks it will just stink in your car because of the sulfur smell they add to it.

 

I figured it was safe.

Since the tank is under pressure, it would prolly be pretty nasty if it were ever punctured...or is it a low pressure gas?

 

It is possible that if the tank overheated and blew up right next to you, that you could possibly be killed. There is a picture somewhere on this board that shows a guys car and garage blown up because he left the bottle heater on. His car was torn to pieces.

That dumb@*** was stupid though... he put like two preesure saftey valves on the tank or something like that... so that the saftey ffeatures that everyone else has on every tank were messed upp... and he wired the heater to a hot line... he should have supplied the electircity to it from a line that was switched wtith the iginiton...

there is no prolme with the saftey theat guy was mad stupid....
