Default Bone Stock 350Z with Nitrous (need Help)

ok. I've read every post in this forum. Still trying to decide between the ZEX kit or the NX kit. What I need to know (which I haven't read anywhere) is can I put one of these systems in my Z being bone stock? Do I need to consider any other mods before dumping one of the systems into my car. I know I need colder plugs but what else???

A lot of guys are using the NX universal import kit. There should be no problem using it on a stock car, many of us just have intake/exhaust upgrades which won't really affect the nitrous use.

Colder plugs, bottle warmer, nitrous pressure gauge, maybe a remote bottle opener, and the highest possible octane of gas you can find whenever you plan on sprayin to prevent detonation.

if i wanna put 100 octane in my tank but normally run 93, does that mean ill have to wait and drain the 93 out first and then put in the 100?

People have had mixed reviews on the Zex kits, that's why I went with the NX. Don't regret it @ all. You can put your bottle in the spare tire location if you take it out. If you want to keep your spare tire you can put the bottle between the seat and the rear strut bar.

As for the octane question, you can mix no problem. 93 and 100 you'll probably get like 96 or so depending on how much of each you put in.

Somebody said that if you take the spare out and lay it in there you can cover it back up with the carpet and you can barely tell.

no doubt; the problem bein, however, i still set stuff back there. i would not feel comfortable puttin too much weight on top of the bottle and stuff.

You could make a brace that goes over the bottle so wieght is on it. Also remember that a bottle is holding over 1000psi of pressure in it, so there pretty tough. But you don't want something constantling hitting it.

the thing that would b pointing up the most (i think) would b the valve, since the bottle needs to b tilted. i would b leery of puttin weight right on that.
