Times? Good times! I don't know - No one was timing us. I felt that I did a lot better than my first time out (this was my 2nd). I felt more comfortable with my car, with passing, braking and even got some shifting in (3->2, 2->3, even got to 4th once on the back straight for the heck of it). The first time out I just left it in 3rd.

I did see the white Z. I think I met Aaron. He may have been the one that invited me over to pit with them. I took the invitation. (as did Zeeanswer) I didn't chat much as I was with my girlfriend, taking pictures, racing, and recuperating! That takes a lot out of you! I'm looking forward to an actual driving class or 2 next year.

Cool
Aaron is a bigger guy (muscular) with no hair... on his head and hair on his face.

You should have had your GF time you in the stands, thats what I do usually.
Aaron said it was a great time, but the last session was cut due to rain. :-)

I hope you make it out there next year...

Might be parting out the Z.

After having some very grown up thoughts, I am thinking to downsize on a vehicle. By downsize of course I mean price.

Please, guys I dont want to hear any **** from anyone, It was very hard to come to this deciscion. I have to bring my baller lifestyle down a little bit.

I would like to own a house someday instead of Rocking it out with Cars, motorcycles, watches, guns etc.

So, my criteria for a new vehicle is ......... Something winterable, the fuel efficiency of the Z or better, something domestic (aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh), something I could get in a manual, and around $20K (eeeeeeeek).
I have never driven a car less than $36k (Ive only had 2 cars anyway).

I totally want to avoid any kind of performance oriented vehicle (omfg, did I really just say that, I cant really be thinking this can I?)

Im thinking of getting a Jeep Patroit. I guess I will have to learn to be average guy for a while.

So, I will be selling all my parts. (OMFG, I cant believe im making this announcement, this is like really official now) If anyone wants anything, let me know, or I will be posting things in classifieds.

I would appreciate all the help I could get from you guys with parting out the car. Please let me know if any of you guys are interested in helping.

I can't really help you with buying any of it, but I will help you get the stuff off and get on your stock stuff.

Man, last time I invite you to my place.

DON'T get a Patriot. They are having alot of warranty issues. Trust me I work at CTC, it is a fire fight all the time.

I'd say get a used car man.. let someone else take the sticker shock.
Give me a call tonight...we can go through some stuff.

Mike,

I think I just threw up in my mouth reading that statement! I would let the thoughts of down sizing simmer or settle a little bit.... then reconsider!

Anyways... you have to do whats right for you.... and if I can help by taking that pulley off your hands let me know.

See you Sunday

Your work is safe and secure, at the end of the week, you know how much money you are getting.

I fricken make $20k one month and then make $200 dollars over the next 3 months. This lifestyle is crazy and sometimes I lose sleep over it. I would rather just downsize, save money, then buy a nice toy. Financing things is scary in my line of work.
