Why did your friend get rid of his GTO? Mine was a pos. LOVED the car, hated the problems, and plus no one at the service centers knew what to do to fix anything because of it being so foreign.
I'll probably go out, i'm tryin to convince my friend with a 06 Grand Prix GT to come out and try his luck. Those supercharged GP's run like low 14's stock.

Hey guys, Spring is slowly coming and I'm planning onputting new rims and tires on the vehiculer!...
Im torn between the Nitto NeoGen's, and the NR55 or N55* (forgot the exact callout) in 18's.
I have a 2004.5 Touring Model AT, with the 17's. So I'm looking to upgrade.
With that I'm also gonna look at Rims as well.
Where can I get the RAYS 35th anniverseries that came on the 06's?
Also, do you guys have any suggestions for a SILVERSTONE touring that are NOT chrome?
Any help or suggestions and where to find some reallygood deals would be a plus.

I'm really not of any help but all I can do is reassure that whatever Nitto tire you get, it will be nice. I've had Nitto 555 xtreme DR's and they were awesome.

hey man the rays didn't come with the 35th anniversary and it only came with 06 track and grandtouring model . anyways if you want to buy it i got a set from my grand touring . will let you check it out in person as well . let me know

Sounds awesome, Where do you live? Im from Warren, Michigan. Also, they are not the Chrome Edition are they?
What are you askin for?
How many miles driven on them?
Size of Rims? etc etc..sorry for all the questions.

i live in sterling heights . anyways these wheels never came in chrome . it 18x9 front and 19x10 rear offset 30 all around , theyre in perfect condition i drove the car for about 8k miles , and switch over to Volks GT-M . there are a few member on the board sell them for 1500 - 1800 , if you seriously want them come over check it out and give me a resonable offer , wheels will come with stock bridgestone re50a tires 245 40 front and 265 35 rear.

I can vouch for Billy's wheels..
The guy NEVER drove that thing with those on it...
I would say get the NeoGens..
I have them on my Spec-V and they are GREAT tires, especially for the money
They had a wtirup on them in Nissan Sport Magazine and called them a best buy....

Do any of you guys have experience with subwoofer boxes with ports that close and open?
I have a QLogic box holding my two 10" Alpine woofers. I've got every filter set on the amp to high, because quite honestly I don't like explosive, rock the neighborhood bass. However, i've noticed that they sound like they're struggling a tad. My friend who's a complete bass head recommended I remove the ports to let the woofers breath a little. Have you guys had any good/bad experiences with doing this?

I would never remove a port completely unless you plan on plugging the hole completely to make a sealed box. The length of the port is integral to the tuning of a box, but a hole without a port (tube) would just be sloppy. If the volume of the box falls within the required specifications of the sub for a sealed box, you may be able to remove the port and cover the hole securely. A sealed box should sound tighter and provide a more accurate base reflex response. BUT.....this is just theory, and I wouldn't do anything without doing some research first.
If they're struggling, and by reading your message above it doesn't sound like you're trying to rock the neighborhood with heart-pounding bass, you may not have enough power running to the subs.

Is it possible you are running the amp too lean and the subs aren't getting the power they need...Do you have a Stereo face with the sub hookup and tune on it? I didn't have one for a while in my Camaro and it made a huge difference once I got that and tuned it right..
As for the Ports I agree with Spartan on this....try the audio guys though, I am NO expert thats for sure

Yeah I'm not really going to mess with anything as of yet. I'm not too concerned. I'm going to try and tune up the amp a little, reduce some of the filters I had set. See if I can get it evened out more.
