The dealer receipts say Valvoline Durablend. No weight specified.

I bought Valvoline Durablend 5w-30 for the end of the season oil change - and that's what I'll put in it in the spring. I will be keeping my receipts and logging my oil changes if, in fact, I am consuming beyond standard limits.

It's hard not to dwell on it while the car sits in the garage..

On a lighter note - I'll probably be picking up a headrest-camera mount for the trips to the track this year. http://www.cruisecam.com/Mount_new.pdf

Let me know if any of you guys want one and I can save you a few $ on shipping. I did email them (since they based in Farmington Hills) and you do have to order online. Product shipped from FL.

Thekinn - I switched to mobil 1 10w30 full synthetic. At first I thought my car was consuming oil. Because at the first oil change I noticed hardly any oil came out (looked like 3 qts). Then I switched to mobil 1 10w30 full syn. and on my second oil change it looked like it was about 1/2 qrt low. I used the mobil 10w30 full syn. on my 3rd change and I havent had any problems since. No burning from what I can tell. I just considered my first oil change where I thought I was low or burning oil a fluke on my part.

I dont know if changing your oil will help, but it seemed to work for me. Im not saying it is the answer, just giving you my experience.

That is just the camera 'mount' - $44.95 It has a basic/universal screw that goes into the bottom of your camera.

Shipping is $9.95 for 1
$12.90 for 2
$15.85 for 3 headrest mounts..

So with a multiple order, you save $7 per unit shipping by not buying individually. Nothing great, just thought I'd throw it out here.

guys these engines burns alot of oil from using synthetic . if you were to use synthetic i recomend mobil1 0w40 or motul series . if it continues to burn you might wanna let the dealer do the test . they have fix the problem with new designed rev up engine . there's a few thread floating around about this new eninge.

Hey fellow Michigan Z owners,
my TT 518rwhp/498wtq on 94 pump gas is still for sale... its pretty much OBO right now... if you know anyone that might want to buy this LET THEM KNOW! I'll pitch in a $100 finders fee for it!

https://my350z.com/forum/zs-and-gs-for-sale/311158-2005-35th-annv-518whp-greedy-tt-sgp-a-t-race-tran.html

Direct link to the sale site with all the goodies!

Scott's European Auto went over the car... pulled the engine fixed everything all up new gaskets... its got a BRAND new SGP transmission with about 300 miles TOPS on it.

Good luck with the sale man.
Someone has to be interested.
The parts are worth what you are asking for the car.

Mike K-You still got your test pipes.
A guy that was going to buy mine wants a used set, preferably resonated...
I'll get you his screen name if you still got'em.

Billy - what are you going to be getting after you sell the rims?

I agree they would look good on a black Z.

Billy - The new rims looks sick. I cant wait to see them. You should let your other rims go to the other forum member in the classifieds and if you get him to split the shipping your still ahead of what you wanted to sell them for.

Hey Craig.
My god man your car is perfect, the top does not need cleaning...
Seriously...are you obsesive compulsive...heheheh

I am waiting for the weather to get a bit better, probably March.
It is just too damn cold to be on the ground working on a car.

I have them though, and they look AWESOME!
