Ha, I wish... if I could find a job someplace warm that would replace my current salary, I'd probably be gone in a month.

I'm building an investment house in Carolina, and with the housing market taking a big ****, I'm wondering if I'm gonna make money or lose money. If I make money, I don't think it's gonna be much.

That could be risky, espicially with new a new build. Typically the houses that you can make money on are the ones that already exist.

Also, market analysts are predicting even more of a decline untill sometime in 2009. That includes pricing and sales. Sales will start to perk up at the end of 2008. The market has to get out of the current oversupply of properties before we can see values increasing. Currently in some Michigan areas we have as high as a 24 month oversupply for certain markets.

We had a realtor from on of the Carolina's speak to us at a meeting and he said that in his area prices do not typically boom and bust like they do in other parts of the country. So, not sure how that would affect you. Your best bet is to just contact a realtor in the area and have him give you very straight forward and honest low-ball figures. That is the safest way when dealing with investment properties.

Wow. I wasn't sure what to think when you posted pics of the wheels back a few months ago.. They look sweet man. I like it.

I personally don't think Michigan is a 'drop friendly' state. Looks great the way it is. Nice mod!

They look GREAT CRAIG!
I agree on the lowering springs...about another inch and half and the car would look GREAT.

Mike K-thanks for the Real Estate update...

Maher, I am with you man, If it wasn't for Jessie Job I would have been out of here too. The Carolina's is where I wanna go.

Just ordered my NEW test pipes.
I am anxious to see what the gains are like with the HR.

Everyone says it is more, and the "dyno sheets" show it. I will let my But Dyno, and track times see.

Anyone up for an exhaust swap at the end of the month?
We can use my Buddy's lift, I supply lunch and beer.

It should be good to go, and driveable by then...
It might actually make it to a few of the meets....

Last year, your helmet needed to be Snell95 approved or better. There should be a tag inside the helmet that has that info. Motorcycle helmet is fine as long as it meets that requirement.

They (www.waterfordhills.com) have not released the open track day schedule/rules/registration yet for 2008. So, that may change.
And all other tracks have their own rules - in case you were thinking of driving somewhere else.

Default Auto Show Plans?

Any plans as of yet for the NAAS? A few friends of mine and myself are planning on meeting at a house in Berkley at around 4pm on Saturday the 19th. From which point we'd be taking off at some point to meet with others or go to the show itself.

Thoughts?

Also, anyone have connections on Axis wheels?

Thanks in advance,

-The Newb

Also,

In regards to you guys doing the exhaust, I'd be more than glad to help, lend tools, meet, manage/oversee, watch, stay-outta-the-way, w/e. Would love to meet the group and the like.

Either way, best wishes on the install!

Welcome to forums...

Help is always welcome as it seems there is always somebody with something to put on or take off.

What model/year did you pick up? Any mods or plans to mod?

Jeff

I haven't uncovered the car since November... don't even want to look at it since I know I won't be driving it until late March. The only good thing about it is I'm saving big time on insurance while it's stored.
