Default Jeff....

Jeff,

I picked up my 06 Touring (Manual) with 16k miles on her back in August. I've almost put 11k on since.

She was stock at delivery, I've debadged the hatch myself and had the Nissan emblem color matched by a friend of mine at Collex. I needed something to set it apart from the stockies. Oh and I put winter tires on the rear.

Planned/Budgeted Upcoming installs:

Valentine or Sti radar unit, more research and shopping to be done

Axis Matrix 20x9 & 20x10.5 w/some quality rubber...again, more research and shopping to be done

Thanks for asking!

wow havent posted in here for a while . to above welcome , do not buy axis wheels man , they tend to crack and heavy as **** . 19 or 18 is the proper size wheels for the Z , 20" will fit but you'll be losing to civics on the streets .
just a few hundreds more you could get volk work ect....

Ride the Line..Welcome to the forum!
Look in the Wheels forum, I think there is a sticky to NOT buy Axxis wheels.
I have no personal experience with them though. You gonna do any performance mods???

I will let you guys know when I get the Berk Technology Test pipes.
They shipped out on Saturday.

I am hoping maybe this Friday to put them on. I am not 100% sure though.
Hell if you all show that is alot of beer!..Cool by me!

Later guys

OHHH MAN
The EAGLE is DOWN
You ok Johnny?
I bet that was embarassing
That doesn't look THAT bad man...

Did the Engine get popped off the motormounts?
You could buy a new hood from a junkyard, Ziptie the lights in place and keep driving it....My buddy did that with his Lumina

I got my Testpipes last night, but I am going to wait til it is a BIT warmer out before I try to put them on... Too cold for my blood.

That was embarassing for sure, and after everything he gave me a ride into work.

I am a little sore, but I am ok.

The damage is worse than I thought, because I was going to fix it as well. My airbags blew so I need a new dash with airbags, obviously the hood, front bumper and lights. You can see the tranny fluid sitting under the front of my car, from smashing the tranny cooler. The car would also need a new radiator, and fans.

I take it you are on the market for a new ride now then
Or are you gonna drive the Z daily?

No to Axis wheels huh? Ok…twist my arm...

I love a community with both fashion AND performance police all in one. I’ve found my belonging…

To all, thanks for the welcoming!

Jonny, Ouch! The Eagle is hit but how bad was your sup’s ride?

My sup's car had hardly anything. Looks like at the most he will need a new rear bumper. In a way it was almost good that he was the one I hit, because he got me out of the ticket the state trooper was going to give me.

The good news is, it looks like I might be picking up the new ride some time today. Well at least I hope.

Hi Ride,

Out of curiosity - do you do your own oil changes? Have you noticed any unusual oil consumption?

I took mine to the dealer for all oil changes except the last of the season in '07 and.. well.. not too much oil came out. I'll take a look at the container again, but it seems like it was about 2 quarts.

I'm currently trying to figure out what I'm going to do... Do the tests and get a V2 engine, Wait and see if a V3 comes out, or hire a lawyer and go for a lemon lawsuit and try to get an '07 or '08 through a buyback sort of thing..

I love the Lemans Sunset color though.. and they discontinue that after '06.

AJ - what time did you go to the auto show on sunday? I was there on sunday when they opened the doors. I walked around for almost 2 hours with no one there.

I picked up my truck yesterday. I got a Dodge Dakota 4x4, 4 door, Laramie Package. I will post up some picks when it gets a little nicer and I can snap some picks.

I had consumption on my Z as well. I remember having to put a few extra quarts in the motor a few times.

I went from one oil consuming car to another.

The S4 consumes oil also, however it holds 9 quarts, so im not to worried if I lose a few. LOL

Weird
My car never burned any oil, and I was rough as hell on it

Johnny, I am going THIS Sunday to the autoshow. Last Sunday I was watching the football games.
Nice truck man! I hope you got a good deal on it! Post up some pics man.
Mike, your Audi is known to consume oil, that is just how that engine works man.

9 quarts is retarded though, seriously, thats like a Diesel truck.
