It is down by Monroe.
Its a really nice place, and I had alot of fun last year going to it.
It would be nice to get more Z's there that is for sure.

Ah I see, more towards downriver.
Speaking of Downriver, "Ya'll see the new Sonic opened???" Someone is opening up a Sonic. That man is going to be rich because i'm so tired of seeing all those wonderful slushies they make and not being able to buy one!! lol

so who all tracks their Z's here in SE MI region? I'm curious cuz I plan on running stock class in the auto-x's and wanna know about the competition.
(Granted I've only driven in one auto-x, but I almost beat my friend's time in his own car which he's been auto-xing for a year haha)
and I heard rx8's have the advantage over Z's in the same class (B stock).

I've only been to a couple open track days. Funnest thing I've ever done. From what I've read and seen, practice/experience is the most important thing. If you don't have any..you probably won't be much competition.
You should pick up an AutoTrader mag. There are a lot of used Zs for sale here in MI (8 that I can see so far). If you are sort of on a budget crunch - it'd be the way to go.

Wow, this whole MS3 thing blew up in my face. Probably not happening..
No other dealers in the area have the new revised 08.5's. The dealer that WAS working with me, ended up not sticking to their word whatsoever.
Now i'm back on the market..and don't have a clue what the hell I want..

John
You can come and do it with me...
You won't blow up a whole set of tires by doing a few runs...
Its just a setup in a BIG parking lot....nothing really extreme.

I would but i'm not exactly in the position to have two cars. I'd rather have the garage to support it.
The dealerships are saying they don't support employee pricing. I called Mazda NA and they said they do sell them at employee price.
The guy is pretty much ready to refund my deposit because he told me i'm wasting his time. I'm really shocked, and ready to give them hell for it.
It's either that, or I buy this 06 GTO with only 6k on the dial, or just keep my SS until the lease runs out. I have a buyer for the SS but we haven't signed any documents yet. So I have options.
I'm really wanting the MS3 for it's practicality and higher efficiency for what it is, but not worth the hassle of the dealer and the fact I can't get the price I want.
The GTO is an automatic (my 05 manual was shitty, I don't mind automatic) but I'm hesitant it'll be a mistake. Who ****ing knows anymore, my god..

Sounds like a shitty salesman...
I wouldn't get the car after that experience.
There not that great...
Fun to drive but only if you are going over 60, which is TICKET TIME

The salesman was pretty decent, the sales manager is the one who was ruining it all. Infact, I could tell they butt heads alot because the salesman was talkin **** behind his back, and the entire time they were at odds with everything. Sales Manager was on his *** about everything and in my eyes, my salesman was doing everything right. It's just that my sales manager ended up throwing him under the bus, because he denied everything my salesman offered me. It's almost like, who's losing credibility? At this point, both are and the dealership is losing my business entirely. Funny thing is, when I did call the other dealer, the salesperson told me he had just sold 2 cars that same day that were clients from my original dealer. (Who knows if it's true, but it's not hard to believe either).
I think for the price, you're getting a lot of practicality and fun for the price. Not many other cars can compete unless they're alot more money or a lot less and
have a lot less power.
There's not much else on the market i'm even close to being interested in, or that I feel like paying for.
If they can make it happen, i'll be doing it. Otherwise, it's lookin like I may just want to tell my buyer i've changed my mind and am keeping the truck. Figure the worst thing that happens is I ride my lease out and find something else in another year and a half.

Billy,
I have an Idea for your car.
Paint the carbon Fiber hood but leave the vents unpainted.
Check this dudes car out. I think it looks crazy
