To all of you that have not gotten a room yet at the resort for the Dragon run it may be to late! As of the day before this forum got overhauled they were at what 80% and maybe full by now. Call just to make sure if you are planning on going with us!

WHEN I HIT ANN ARBOR TOMORROW, MAYBE IF MY KID IS NOT GOING TO BE BUSY, HE CAN DRIVE THE Z IF THE WEATHER COOPERATES! THE Z GOT TUNED AND IS FINALLY DONE!!

 

Gerry am I rooming with you guys ? Its me and my 1 friend. I got motorolla radios from work that I can bring so we can stay in contact How big is our caravan now me u mike and how many from out of state ?

 

That is ok Jon there was room for you and Ed. Did not know about friend??? But it still should be ok!

 

Jon can you find out what a big banner well ok a nice sized banner would run so we could get it for the cabin??? You know hang it out front and let everyone know who we are!

When I have a day off and want to pick my Z up it snows??!!!!! Why me??? I hate winter and I wanted to drive the Z today!!! Dan said it sucks big time out in Novi.

I no longer work at the store on 13 mile, so I might have a problem getting us in the better spots for Dream Cruise. I will call next month and see if they still can get me in the shopping complex parking lot.

 

ok sweet..... im getting some vinyl signs of my company logo for my car.... ill ask them of they know a good place.... would something as simple as a large sheet printed at kinkos then laminated work ?

 

Well I was thinking the logo and the wording you used for the t-shirts and that in black on a white background.
I did blow up the zdayz logo and it took about 22 pages and had it laminted at kinkos already.

ok everyone in the Novi area, I will be at godspeed and at dick scott on wednesday so If anybody wants me to dropp off shirts for them let me know. on a side note i read on some thread that taking off the stock muffler gives the z a nice note.... i tried that and wasn't too pleased. Although it did give me somewhat of an idea of how I should go about making my exhaust now. As for the crank pulley, I should have the prototypes by this week followed by a month of testing and if the prototype passes, production parts in time for zdays (end of may)

 

Well, I got my Samcos installed with some of the Pi-thons. Looks good. Had an issue with the coolant. I put it in to fast and had air in the system. Seems to be fixed now. We'll see.

Looks like Zless and I will be doing some work on his car at my house next Sunday. Maybe it will be in the upper 40s. Warm enough for washing cars.

 

Looking forward to getting the rotors on and the calipers painted!

Jon can't wait to here how the pullies turn out! You can put me down for a set. Also ask Dan about the y pipe and the gains it gives and you are right about the stock muffler anyway. If replaced the gains out weight the use of the stock sytem entirely!

 

Zless, how did your car come out after tuning at Godspeed? Any before and after dynoes? You bought the e-01 piggyback computer right for fuel, etc.?

hey what do you guys think of this new forum layout? its kinda scary....

 

Yep, I'm doing some work on the oven to make it hotter for silicone powder but regular powder is fine. I'll have to order some more black too, i'm out. It will take me at least an hour per caliper from prep to cure im sure. I've never rebuilt a caliper before, that rubber boot can come out right? I'll most likely have to disassemble the whole thing I think.

 

I will let you know tomorrow after I pick it up! Had Dan do a lot of things and a before and after was one of them. I am sure that was the unit he said would work the best for the Z and it came out pretty good for an NA car. After the headers and y pipe went in he thinks 255 to the rear wheels.
