Ali, one word: Junkyard

Call around to see if there are any crashed 350Z's (specifically ones involved in rear end collision)

amseyed84, Call and ask for Frank at Millennium Auto. They sometimes deal in wrecked Z's.

you may want to keep an eye on the marketplace too....although you may get killed in shipping. i've seen lots of people parting out z's lately. they want a freakin' small fortune for each part, but you may be able to get a hard to find part quicker.

you win for biggest winter build/upgrade, lol.

Seriously? Why you going to Toledo? Is the whole fam going or just you? Haha that kinda puts you closer to me lol.

Anyways, just wanted to share that after my next paycheck, the Z should be OFFICIALLY PAYED OFF!! That means she's MINE! AND I can turn-off the insurance in the winter without anybody saying anything (saves like $80 / month for like 6 months!).

Took me 2 yrs to pay off my loan (about 50% of the sale price). I actually could have done it a lot sooner if I used all the money I spent on mods lol (been keeping an excel file on how much I've spent)

So next step (no, not buy mods) is to payoff 1 of 2 mortgages I have on my place (which is rediculously high at 7.25%). Freakin out of the $100 I pay a month, $90 of it is interest..........

Woot!!!

Good plan Rob. When I purchased my house I had to take a 2nd mortgage - to be the 'larger' down payment... because what I had saved up was not enough. It was better to do that than PMI.

I paid that loan off with the quickness - and then got the Z. (or shortly after getting the Z I paid it off.. too long ago to remember)

Anyways. Congrats. The break on that insurance bill is a nice consequence of winter storage.

Congrats Rob, I know that was roughly the timeframe you were shooting for.

Now pay off the second mortgage, those intrest rates are a bit higher.
We had to do the same, and paid ours off STAT as well man...

Again congrats once thats done...Let the frenzy begin

Sounds good! Set it up for a Saturday in April 2010. (Not Easter weekend of course) Avoid May as the Dick Scott show, Xceed spring BBQ and other events tend to overlap.

Ok cool, What would you guys want raffled tho? as we all have different models? We would need something that is universal for all of our cars. Or maybe we can do free oil changes, or maybe nismo shift *****? I dunno. Ill think about it. But It will be sweet if i can get enough people to come to toledo.

The dealer is right off 23, 2nd exit once you get into Ohio, So its not too bad.

You all can thank me for storing my Z so friggin early. I created a month long warm-up here in autumn. your welcome.

The only good news I have to report is consistent 30-31mpg city/highway in the VW. The Z is going to feel like a friggin rocket come spring..

Well I followed you Steve and stored my Z at the end of Oct. as well.

Sucks cuz I wanted to drive it so bad the past few weeks.

Me on the other hand, 14 mpg in the 4Runner is not fun.

I have another 250mi trip to Chicago and 500 mile trip home that I intend to brave in the Z before I cover it this fall. Still waiting on the damned exhaust. UPS damage set them back a lot.

LOL - Please pull it out and store it again. Cold weather is supposed to come next week.

Still driving mine everyday. 12/1 is coming fast. I switch the insurance off and store it on that day.

If you don't mind, I'd also be interested doing a meet in Toledo. I can get the rest of our NIODetroit group to join in. I'll get the Titan guys to come down too, if that's okay.
