In the area of Woodward Ave and I-696 (North side of Detroit)

 

So, I had a call from a friend today saying that he just past me on 22 and Van Dyke in my Z. Only thing. . . .I didn't drive my z today. He swears that it was silver and black with a nismo body kit and black wheels just like mine. I'm going to be really pissed off if someone copied my car and they live so close to me. Anyone know who this could be?

 

It could be Billy. But he doesn't have the Nismo body kit, he's got the Cwest kit. But I think he does have black wheels on his silver Z. That's really the only modded silver Z I can think of.......

 

It's Billy, he doesn't live in Shelby but he lives close by.

 

That's okay then. Billy's Z doesn't really look like mine. My friend said this Z looked exactly like mine

 

Anyone here drive all blacked out Z with gold rims? Seen driving in detroit.

I do have to say I have been seeing ALOT more Z's in our area recently.
I think the old 03's are finally lowered in price enough that it is really a good bang for the buck buy. Hopefully we can get a few more people on here soon.

 

Heck, It was 3 years ago this month that I got my 03 for $13,000. They must be dirt cheap by now.

 

..and hopefully they aren't 16yr old weenie wanna-be street ricers..

I put Veronica to bed yesterday (my Z). It just made sense for me to get her in to storage sooner this year... sucks. It's all 2.0L Fahrvergnügen till Spring.

 

Wow! Based on this, I guess that when you have kids, they will come home from school and go right to bed! Think positive Steve. It'll kill ya when we get a couple warm days later this month.

(Props on the spelling of Fahrvergnügen. I can barely cut and paste it let alone say it.)

I need a nismo exhaust fot my damn berk HFC's but it seems like no one has one forsale. And i don't wanna spend 1500 on HKS either. I about to not even install the HFC's if i can't find exhaust. and its already november.


End rant.

 

I hope you have the HFC's with the additional hanger cuz you do know the Nismo exhausts tend to crack when installed with HFC's.

Edmond are you selling parts to fund your custom turbo system?

Why a Nismo, it is essentially a varied Chamber stock exhaust
You will really get no power out of it.

Buy an exhaust from the used section, personally I think my EVO2 sounded awesome on my HR...

Im not trying to spend a ton of money of the cat back exhaust. So what exhaust would u guys reccomend then? cause i noticed alot of ppl run nismo with their HFC's?

 

go for used!!
i got my evo2 for half price buying a slightly used one from the marketplace. it had a couple bumps and scrapes but nothing anyone will ever see. and the best part was i didnt have to feel bad the 1st time i heard it scrape

its only raspy for 1000rpm for me with HFCs

 

Ya i heard the evo2, and it does sound raspy and alot louder, I wanted the nismo cause of its stock look, and clean sound. Thats why i sold my Agency.

If you guys had stock exhaust, would you still install the HFC's on?

 

i actually got a magnaflow x pipe muffler to go into the greddy Y pipe. havent had time to mess with it yet. should eliminate most if not all of the rasp.

if you dont want rasp dont run test pipes simple as that.
