Just an FYI - Infiniti Ann Arbor does my oil changes for $10.00, with my oil and filter. Tony (tech) is very careful with my car.

 

Is Infiniti AnnArbor owned by AnnArbor Automotive? The same people who own AnnArbor Nissan. I have found that the service shop of AA Nissan was the cheapest and also very friendly.

That's kinda cool if they do the oil change with your oil & filter.

 

I have no idea but you should call them (800) 737-1338 and let them know (Brian) the guy with the silver TT G35 referred you. Again, Tony is very careful with my car and also checks various things when he's got it up on the rack.

 

My car is making some weird creaking sounds at full turn. Not sure if it is the worn out pad OR the camber arm. I am eagerly waiting for May 1 to swap the pads.

My rotors came in yesterday - centric premium blanks.

 

Grease the sway bar bushings. Not sure if the Nismo uses polyurathane bushings, but this would be common. You need some silicon grease to do it. We can take care of that with the brakes.

 

any of you guys replaced your compression rods? i get a creaking noise when i pull in and out of driveways on hills

 

might be your swaybar endlinks.? what year? or do you have aftermarket swaybars?

but, no, I haven't heard of anyone here doing compression rods on Zs.

 

WOW that is a REALLY low Z.
Man only one I know lower is billy's, and even then it prob is close as heck.

Cturn- never heard of it either though your car has a waky stance with your setup and wheels. You sure its not your end links just finally giving in on ya?

 

This thread sheds some light on that issue.

It turns out that those bushings wear out and will start to cause some funky caster issues when they do. A friend of mine is working with Turn in Concepts to develop a urethane bushing to replace the rubber one. SPL has a spherical bearing that they use but it is not really compliant for street use. You'll experience extra wear on that bushing when you lower the car.

 

Yea its low right now but so far no scraping.

Well the rule with food is everybody who gets their car worked on has to chip in for food for the workers.

 

Brian has the Heineken Beer Dispenser that's why I offered to bring the Keg. Besides, I like Heineken but anything works for me.

You don't have any parts that you can use from your old computer? Not even a case?

I could be behind, but I don't think that many games are really set up to run on multiple cores. So you're just as well off to get a dual core with a little more speed than a 3/4 way machine. I'll take a look at newegg later when I finish up some work.

Yeppers. An old friend of mine (and ex-Boss) is the Engineering Manager for Magnaflow. We both used to work for another aftermarket exhaust company. Magnaflow's design looks best.
