Detroit Area Z List part 3
I saw a carbon silver 350Z this afternoon on the way home. This was in Canton on M12. The guy went way out of his way to catch up and say nice car. I wish I had more than 1 sec to chat as the light turned and he was making a right. Could've had a future member.
Point is there are a lot of folks out there who probably have never heard of My350Z.com. It won't be long before we put together some GLZC flyers to pass out in parking lots, meets and on the street.

1.5hr is probably a generous estimate if you have never done it before... and aren't experienced at all (not sure of your wrenching background)..
Good luck!
Tools?
I think most of those (OEM) are 14mm. and might need a 14mm for each side on some (or two 14mm at the same time).. might depend on how the aftermarket exhaust is.
Maybe red/orange liquid gasket if any of your gaskets get damaged or are incorrect..
Band-Aids hehe
but truthfully.. you never know what's going to happen - so always good to have other transportation if your car is in pieces and you need anything... (food?)

Agreed with the above
you will need 2X 14mm sockets/wrench
A 10mm and 12mm are also predominatly used on the Z as well... (FYI).
Another ride is essential, overall its easy
An adjustable wrench to get the stock muffler off the hangers is always a good idea as well otherwise pulling it off can be a real @#TCH.
The back two are a pain, as they are up in the rear of the car high.
Farmington is close so if you get stuck give me a call.
Tomorrow afternoon I am off work 1/2 day WOOT!.
