Nope it was a right rear tire a new Nitto 555 tire not even 1000 miles on it that blew out so bad it tossed the car once it hit the turn. This from a race driver and Z owner and a person that has seen it before. So my kid didn't roll the Z it was the tires that did, and no nail or puncture has been found yet, so it was just the tire.

Trent it was good meeting you. All you other guys hopefully we will meet soon.

By the way, nice Z's.
Thanks. I've really been without my Z for about 2 1/2 months. My heads on the new engine turned out to be ****ed and had several cracks which was allowing coolant to drop into 2-3 combustion chambers. The engine builder from Texas has covered the problem by sending me new heads, cams, etc. They must have got too aggressive in the port work on the 1st set of heads Since the heads were off, I decided to use a L19 head stud that can be torqued down more than the standard ARP stud. My car should be all put back together, running, and tuned either Monday or Wednesday next week. Should have just got a new Z06 put a bottle and tire on it and called it a day

From the limited info that I know about the incident, a lawsuit against Nitto Tire may be difficult. I'm sure their attorneys would get into the whole background of the annual event, why were you here?, so this was a annual meet where people with modified cars get together to "conquer the tail of the dragon?" Isn't it true that the car was being driven aggressively and in violation of local driving ordinances or posted mph?, The person that told you this about our tire isn't really recognized as an expert, etc., etc.

Just my initial thoughts, but they could change with more detail (which admittedly, I do not have all of the details). Thank god no one was seriously hurt in the accident. Which is really what counts. Zless, your insurance is taking care of this, right?

State Farm already settled with me and they are letting me take all mods off at this time.

I never got a video of it... and im in the SOB lol

Just because one employeed ****ed up at the dealership doesnt mean the whole place is bad... that place REALLY works great for modders... giving them new trannys and ****... I've always heard great about them!

There are a lot of stupid people in this world... cant put the blame on anyone except for them...

Does one stupid employee make the entire Dealership screwed up? I think not, and well like I said it sucks that you had your stuff taken there!

Default Finished

Well guys, my car is finally done and everything looks good right now. Tuning Factory finished the tune late last night (thanks Dan and Jeff) and the final number on 93 pump gas at 17 psi was 655 rwhp I'll be picking her up later today, but I have a feeling I'm going to need a really wide tire out back to keep her straight at 17 psi.

Possible future mods - upgrade oil cooler; push or pull fans for cooling; new hood for cooling; maybe water/meth kit for cooling, possibly 18 inch rims/tires, possibly half tub the rear to fit a wider tire in the wheel well.
