Jon the price we are getting is the off season rate plus a special 20% zdayz deal. I am sure it will the best we can get, besides have you ever heard of moon shiners liking the government??lol Son we are going to the mountains the begining of all trails and the mother of of all roads!

 

I just read on one of the other forums, we sold out the resort!!! That is amaZing!
That means the unlucky ones that waited, have to drive to get to everything! It also means we will hit over 200 Z's in the second year!!!!

 

We need to start thinking of our food list. Supplies. i just noticed we are right next to the Smoky Mnt. I think I may do some hiking on Wed or Thurs. I have to go to Circuit City and get an extra Memory Stick for my camera.

 

For the amount of space and stuff we can pick up once we get closer like cold beer and such waiting may be a good idea. Remember there are group meals Thursday till Sunday am. So we are on are own Tuesday till Thursday night. I am still going to get a small grill and we can get burgers and dogs and stuff closer to the lodge. Sound ok with you guys?
Memory sticks will help there is plenty to shoot out there let me tell you! The views and the roads go beyond anything you will ever see in Michigan.

to the comment about the memory! Seriously bring a laptop or a TON of memory the mountains themselves are beautiful enough just to take pictures of minus a million Z's there making it even more secsi! I was there last year and I couldnt help but fill my camera's 2x 256meg sticks and that was within about 2 hours of being on the dragon!!! Much less a weekend!!! its amazing out there!

I ordered a 3x5 banner for our group to use at events if everyone pitches in it will not be that bad! It is the logo Jon came up with and I think it is going to look rather nice in that size.

 

mike, let me know when you plan on going to milan again. i want to know what my car can do N/A now that i got all the tranny problems fixed. im holding off on using nitrous untill i get my oil test results from blackstone labs. i want to make sure that the problems i was having were due to idiot techs and not nitrous use.

i know u guys are doing the zdayz thing (sucks i cant go), but we should set up a local meet soon after that event. early june maybe?

 

Maybe I'll go to Milan next Wed.

I have my sways and new grill. Pick up the rear lip at lunch tommorrow. All painted and ready to go.

Now I will be very busy until Zdayz. Lots to install.

 

Another reason why I love the zdayz event. The Dragon is playing host to a biker show at the Topika lodge (the nearest beer store) the same weekend. Wet t-shirt and bikini contest and oh a bike show will be held there as well! Fun in the mountains and the sun!!!

 

I may be up for Milan next Wednesday. It all depends on if we have crappy weather or not.

I'll be at milan tomarrow (Saturday) for the High school drags showing the eclipse. Should be fun. If I could get this damn standalone tuned right I might make some runs heh.
