Track Day Autobahn Country Club June 6th
Hello, I'd like to extend an invitation to area Z owners to a HPDE I will be sponsoring in June. This will be an all-day event on a Tuesday. We will be using the North Circuit and the price will be $200-$250/car depending on the number attending. Drivers will need a DOT approved helmet and will need to
pass a technical inspection. The day promises to be a lot of fun and ACC is a first class facility. I hope you can join us. If you are interested, please e-mail me at kettelkamp1@mchsi.com or p-mail at elisetalk.com (JimK). I have 2 Z-owners interested so far, hope to see more. Thanks, Jim

Jim, what group/club is putting this event on? I may be interesred, although having run the North course, I'm looking for an event running the South or the combined course.
Do you drive an Elise?
Do you drive an Elise?
Not an organized club, a group of fellow enthusiasts from the Quad Cities plus several Elise owners. I chose the North circuit because it is more appropriate
for novice drivers, there will be many novice drivers in our group. Lotus, Ltd.
has the whole track the day before ( apparently was booked a while back).
I really think the whole circuit is way too fast for someone without a fair amount of experience, almost as fast as Road America. I am around 110 in the Elise on the North Circuit, it's fast enough to be thrilling, slow enough that you can drive it all day without too much worry about brake fade.
I also didn't think I could get enough people for the whole circuit, costs a LOT more $$. I'd like to get 25-30 cars, would get the price down around $200 but still give everyone lots of seat time. I hope you can join us, we will have a
good, diverse group of cars and drivers.

Just to update, Track Day will be Tuesday, June 6th. We will arrive at 0700 and the event will run until 1700. Everyone will get over 2 total hours of track time. Right now, I have 20 cars signed up and 5 "maybes". I will cap the event at 30 cars which will ensure more track time for everyone. There will be 3 groups of 8-10 on the track at a time so cars will be well spaced. I will be sending in a deposit for the track within the next 10 days. Final price will be $250. Thanks and I hope you can join us.
