Has anyone ever gone to a track day at Waterford Hills? I am very interested. I have never driven my car on a track before. It would be great to see some fellow Z owners there. Anyone plan on going April 28th?

It costs $125. I am still trying to figure out if you need any special "schooling" or licesnes. Anyone know?

Open Track Schedule:
SATURDAY, APRIL 28th
SATURDAY, MAY 19th
SUNDAY, JUNE 10th
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14th

 

I have been there a bunch, I used to actually race there...
Great place really, alot of tight turns...

You need nothing, except a helmet and a valid drivers licens
You also need to sign a waver
if you have never been there before you will probably have to do a school in the morning...and a few laps with someone else in teh car to show you the line, and help you get familiar with the course...

Its money well spent and is good clean fun!!!

 

I have to say my first track day was a success. I was able to get 4 20 minute sessions in. It was a lot of fun. The people were great. A Nissan 350z competitive driver was riding with me for 2 of the sessions. He really helped me out by giving me some pointers and showing me the line. Thanks Ben.

I encourage everyone to try this at least once. The next Open Track Day at Waterford is May 19th. I am already pre-registered.



PS. I was the only 350z representing . I hope to see a lot more next time around.

Thanks for the info. I have been wondering about that place. I can not commit to a date - but I will certainly try to get out there.
