It seems like we pretty much just tag along at all the other Nissan meets, and then some dumb kids starting revving their engines and doing burnouts and we get kicked out. I'd like to meet and talk with some of you guys for more than 5 minutes.

I'd like to organize a Meet, I'll be taking suggestions in this thread for location, date and time.

I can suggest one place where I held a Maxima meet one time, it's Moto Persona right outside of Yorktown Mall in Lombard. Cops can't kick us out because it's a private lot, and I'm cool with the owners of the high end performance shop Moto Persona.

Let me know what you guys think....

 

Yea, i know how you feel, I "was" going to arrange a Z meet for the same weekend as my buddies were going to with their civic meet (I used to be a proud civic owner a few short months ago) and that was going to be at Busse Woods, but unfortunately the meet was scehduled for a weekend I will be out of town so i sorta jsut scrapped the idea.

Im all for the meet, just name a time and place and youll see just how many of us show. Hopefully its not going to be a bad weekend that no one can meet, but from teh sounds of it, we could make it any weekend we want (or every weekend if enough people are up for it).

Otherwise, if you really want to hang with some fellow Z owners, come up to teh taco bell by Irving and Barrington any saturday night between 9:30 and 12 pm. were usually jsut chillin there cuz the cops cant kick us out and the management knows that we dont park around there to cause trouble like everyone else by the McD's / Krispy Kreme.

 

How often do you guys hang out at B&I... i never see anyone from this forum there?

Hmm didn't know that about the McD's/KK. Last thurs or fri night, I stopped at KK to get a coffee, and while I was waiting, the kid at the window was checking out the car. He didn't know what the car was but liked the blue.

Also, a homeless looking guy walked up behind my car while I was waiting. I guess he didn't have a car so he'd just ask for something through the window

The only other Z's I've seen recently is a blue like mine, and two silvers.

Why don't the cops chase people away from the Taco Bell?

Im up for the meet, just not this saturday. I went to the Uno Schamburg meet and it kinda sucked. Did meet two other Z owners that were cool though.

 

Well since I don't have my Z yet. Only a few more weeks I will be out until maybe end of MAy Early June.

 

I'm up for a nice Z only meet sometime soon. The only good thing about the last Nissan meet by Woodfield was watching those idiots destroy their cars on the speed bump. Other than that, I'd rather just BS with some other Z owners.

Moto Persona is a cool place. We could meet up there and then head down the road to Hooters or someplace else to grab some food and a beer.

A DRIVE!

The Kettle Moraine(sp) scenic drive from appx. Whitewater to Elkhart Lake through cheeseland is a blast. An easy day drive, and if I remember, we MIGHT find a bar or 2.......

Now, if I could only get a weekend day off work........

Saw a black 350Z driving in the rain on Sunday, actually driving pretty aggressively. Don't know if I would have done the same given the slick roads and the 40 mph wind gusts.

My Altima was getting buffeted all over the place and people are driving minivans, trucks, and SUVs on the expressway like there's nothing different...

Hey, that was me. I was in a hurry on Sunday on I-294. 519 is actually the last three digits of my rear license plate. And I was not going that fast at all. Plus there was no traffic.
