Not me. I've got new brake pads and I've had the cusco sway bars on my car for about 4 years now.

Thumbs up June 7th Waterford Hills OTD was a blast once again...

I was one of only two Z's out there. The other guy said he was not a member here and wasn't very social. However, I had a blast! Great weather, no major accidents or delays. I was able to get 5, 15 minute runs in. Needless to say, I was completely exhausted the rest of the night and a good portion of today.

The next OTD at Waterford Hills is July 6th! I would really like to have a better showing of Z's and also my350z.com board members.

Here are some of my favorite pics from the day:

sweet pics man. I was at waterford the day before. We'll definitely have to coordinate where we ALL go at the same time lol. Maybe after a few more driving schools I'll feel more comfortable doing OTD's.

I'm a wuss, but I'd like to get some more track experience before doing an OTD. Also, I hear Waterford doesn't have quite as much run-off as other places so I'd like to come see it first.

OTD's are the best way to get track experience. The nice thing about Waterford is the way they have the classes split up. The white class is the "No Experience Class". Ability as well as speed is very slow. You can literally just putz around the track if you wanted to. They will also provide you with some basic instruction at no charge for a few laps to make sure you are comfortable.

True....but then you have the retards with powerful cars that either enter corners too fast, or go too fast on the back stretch, or hammer on the gas too early out of a corner and then spinout and cause accidents.

IMO, the best way to get track experience for a beginner are the driving schools I'm attending. It's the same price, you get pretty much the same amount of track time, but you get a experienced instructor sitting with you every time giving you advice.

Yeah, exactly. That's why I'm preferring doing HPDEs first. Everyone at the event is more or less in the same boat and it's not just showing off.

As I mentioned before, Waterford just scares me with all those walls.
