so i went to my local shop that does all of my work (tires, breaks, etc) and ask them to put on an after market suspension upgrade.....guy says no can do, and he doubts anyone else will do because of "lawsuits". so, my question is, is there a shop around central Illinois or the suburbs, that does good suspension work?
There is a local "shop" (actually just a higher end autozone called the Truckstop) that he said may do the work, but i don't really trust them to work on my care since they usually only rice grand ams and civics out.
thanks in advance.

You should try www.chicagoz.com and do a search over there. I would say Genesis (GRD) would be able to do it. I am trying to find a place closer to me as well though (Joliet/Plainfield).

found a local today actually. the one shop said they would only do eibach (because they have the most kits to lower s-10s and hondas), they said this was the best spring you could buy and would not even think of putting anything else on a car. when she asked what i had, after i told her she said "oh...a Z....so you want it raised?" she thought a 350Z is a Z71 truck! lol....won't be going there!
