I had purchased Borla true dual exhaust from performancecenter.com(dont ever buy from them!). I had ordered it on a thurs and needed the exhaust by the following Friday. The manager Eric had told me that they wouldnt know the ship date till the next day and I would get an email confirming that. He also told me that I could cancel it the next day if i did not recieve it in time. Well I got my email on friday morning and the date said it would not make it to me it time. So I canceled my oder and they said no problem its cancelled. Later that day I called again just to make sure that it was cancelled and they said yes its cancelled. So in the meantime I purchase my exhaust from Borla direct and it was fast and a wonderful expierence. A week later after I had already recieved and installed my exhaust I come home from work to see a package on my front door. I just about s*it myself. I called them that Friday and they said that it had already been shipped even though i got confirmation on Monday that it was just shipped. So they said is was too late to have cencelled it even though their employees and manager told me it was. Moral of the story dont buy from performancecenter they are a bunch of liars looking to make a sale and then leave you hanging! Did you get a cancellation number? If so, send it back to them at their expense and don't let them charge you a restocking fee. This happened to me on a computer monitor a few years ago. Your story is identical to mine. Seems to be another "sales" trick. Hogwash.

 

Sounds rough. This is why I'm mostly hesitant when purchasing things. If I'm not 100% sure I want it, I don't buy it.
