Sounds like fun. I was thinking of putting a different bulb for the license plate lights, kinda like Andrew's friend with the Audi. I thought it looked cool.

Nice, I'll have my camera charged up too. Last year we did a cool video of me driving slowly on the hwy (40ish) and having a bunch of cars fly past me and that turned out to be really nice, so hopefully we can do something like that again. Or do a takeoff, where I can get a sound clip of everyone leaving a parking lot or area at once. we'll figure something out as that day gets closer, I'm gonna try and borrow my sisters XTi for that day too. Nothing worked out well this past few months so no new toys for me

Do eeet! I switched mine to single inverted-cone LEDs a while back and it looks awesome.

It would be amazing if you could do these. I'll even bring a memory card for you to upload copies for me.

Is it just replacing the bulbs, or is there a kit?

Just the bulb, it takes all of 2 minutes. One of the easiest, cool looking mods out there.

And snow sucks.

I got the inverted-cone single LED bulbs for a couple reasons. I wanted the cool-blue white, and didn't want them to be any brighter than regular bulbs. I've seen many people put in bright LEDs and it's just too bright and looks weird.

Scroll down to "WLED-x-x LED bulb"

$1.39/each for the white bulbs.

Also< Dave, if you want, you can buy LED interior dome lights as well. I replaced mine with 4-led ones. Not as bright as Andrews stadium lights , but still damn bright.

Scroll down to the 3022 festoon bulbs. 3022 cross-references to 3175-type

$1.89/each

I was wondering if anyone has taken apart there head lights, i am debating on spraying the inside on mine... I know there are a couple of threads about it but everyone seems to have there own way, seeing if one works better than another. I figure it will be a good little weekend project!

Does eneyone know Sherif, he has that green BMW in the C&C pictures...

Using a heat gun or oven both work just as well, but the heat gun makes it easier to do in your living room or something.

I took apart my 03 headlights before I parted them out and used a heat gun.

Did you wrap them with anything first?

Nope, just bare headlight and heat gun. For the oven... just use a wet piece of cardboard or just a flat pan. Personally, I prefer the heatgun method.
