Dave - I'm in tech school atm. Wichita Falls, TX - Sheppard AFB. I'll be back late December for a week or two. I've been thinking things through, and I may not get rid of the Z. I think it'll be best for me to keep it and do stuff to it. I've got plans.

If I get stationed overseas, I'll be picking up a GSXR600 or ZX-6RR so I can take it with me overseas. We'll see how things turn out.

I already cant wait for spring to come theres so much I need to do to my Z, especially when I get my tax return. One is getting new mirrors

I quit driving the Z a long time ago. Now I just use it to cruise by high schools.

I "stored" my Z on sunday.

A lot of people take the wings off.

 

Somehow I thought it was too early to store the Z so honestly, I have been praying for heavy "SNOW" to feel Ok. Lol

 

My car was stored as of last weekend. Spent 5 hours detailing it. Then my mom was like "I need to drive it this week" and im like "great."

Low and behold now it got rained on and is all dirty again...

I am putting mine away this weekend. I drove it yesterday to the gym, filled up the tank and came to the realization that the driving season is over. In all honesty, once temps fall below 50, my car isn't any fun to drive. It's like deer on an ice rink

I'm not ready for snow yet. I think the rest of MN feels the same way. There's still leaves in the trees and on the ground. I don't want snow before Halloween.

 

Hey, Janik. Not too much. Just chilling in tech school. Texas is alright. It's gotten kinda chilly lately, and it gets old hearing people b*tch about 50 degree weather. Overall, it's pretty fun down here. Just can't wait to find out my first assignment so I can decide to either bring my car down and boost it or not.

What's with everyone complaining about their Z's being stored? Mine's been stored for a few months already.. quit complaining.

 

Yeah, it was 50 here today. I actually walked around in a tee for a while. Did 4+ hours of yard work, got a hair cut, and finally decided I'm done for the day. It suddenly got really cold.

Dude, if I were w/o my Z while in TX I'd be crying by now.

We're doing well, thanks Ben. Got 2 new dogs to keep us busy as if we weren't busy enough. Just got back from the dog park in B-ville. Dogs need a bath now. I knew they'd go for the mossy green water....
