900 for the d2's and camber arms alex? Guy from z1 is selling his hks rs for 850 shipped I'm looking at maybe grabbin them but the mileage is a bit high on them :/ 31k miles.

 

Yup I bought the D2's. I would stay away from coilovers with that many miles.

 

Yeah that is making me skeptical to buy, I suppose i should just get new bcs for a hundred bucks more sigh.

I was actually just checking in with you guys. Have you been conversing at all for a spring opener meet? We're starting to discuss it over on the G forums so thougt I'd check in if you wanted to do a single meet & a joint meet diff days, or what you're preferences were.

We were also talking that the way the weather has been we probably won't bring the cars out until atleast mid-aprilish??

 

ZOOM is a local Z club, Dave has more info on them. We haven't talked about the spring meet yet but I think we should have one big Z/G meet like usual.

 

We have quiiiiiiiiite a bit more activity on the G threads now, esp on the 37! Have 3 upgraded sedans, 3 37 coupes(one being myself), and random 35's poppin' onto the 35 threads!

I would say we could have 10-15 representin!

Like Alex said, we should get the usual Z/G meet going. I agree that with all the ground cover, it'll be a while before the cars come out. I remember one April towards the end of the month when we had our meet and it was below zero with the wind. That's when we went to Winona.

 

Yeah, and I'm not doing that cold a$$ meet and cruise again. I want decent weather.

Well it was like 60 and sunny all day here in lincoln. Hardly any snow left at all here. Lets just meet up with the nebraska club and meet! ....... Seriously though whenever we do it I think we should have like three dates to do it so we arnt forced to do it on a crappy day.

Depends on if you want play a part in C & C or not. We've been talking on the G threads about having a "spring opener meet" which I think is a great idea, and then the following weekend having a HUGE turnout for the C&C. The first C&C is the first Saturday, April 2nd which IMO is too early for a meet.

I think April 30 might be a good plan?? And the 7th would be the first showing we'll be making for C&C. I talked to the creators and there's a larger Japanese section this year with fresh blacktop and a new building.

I think a big showing at C&C would be awesome. That could be our starting point for a cruise later in the day. Of course, that depends on weather conditions.

 

It really seemed to me like c + c has gone way down hill. I remeber when it was at the old location and we parked in the back because they cars there were all like waaaayy nicer than any of ours. Haha I do like the variety they have now but some of the cars you look at and think wtf?? Why is that here?

 

ME LIKEY!!! So like May 7th for the first meet??? People meet prettttty early (6:30am) in the target parking lot before the actual show and then roll in around 6:45ish (coming from the organizer). He suggested if we have a huge representation to definitely get there early to keep all of our cars together.

I think that'd be SIIIIIIIICK! Then with it ending at 11ish, we could all roll out and do our cruise or go somewhere for a huge meet of our own??
