nothing like last minute work on the Z, got my part today to install my shocks, go to orielly's in AV to rent their Spring press only to find out that they just rented it out to someone else, so then I race over to Lakeville (keep in mind I had only 6 minutes to get to the one in Lakeville before they close) and got their just in time as they were about to lock the doors and got their press. damn.... SO..... Get to go outside and have some fun for awhile.

Hey i got some Genuine Nismo 4.083 Final Drive Ring and Pinion for my Z and i heard a tranny shop charges around $200 to put them in. I called one tranny shop and they told me $300-$500. Do you guy know anyone in the area who does tranny work for a good price? That would be able to throw this final drive gear in for me and Guarantee there work?

 

200 is too cheap. that job is nearly a 2 hr job to just pull and reinstall the pumpkin, let alone install the parts. 300-500 seems to be a fair price range.

if it were my car and I didn't want to do the work, I would probably take it to DB in rogers

 

I have track time to use up on Monday at BIR, so I will be heading up Sunday..prob run into you guys or call to see an impromptu meetup.
