ha i was not expecting events to take place in the dead winter, i'm slightly smarter than that.... i obviously meant overall how the scene was.

and yes, this weather is gonna be a shock if i do move. I lived in england for 3 years, but it was nothing like MN weather.

Sup new guy, so far this is nothing compared to last years winter. I think we already had a foot of snow by thanksgiving, and so far the temps here have been well above average.

I see you have the vortech SC, what numbers are you putting down??

 

well as long as i get 5-6 auto-x events in during the year, i' mgood.

my sc is putting down 352 whp and 301 lb/ft. nothing spectacular, but enough to make the car fun as hell.

actually, the SC is for sale if i get the job and move... so i will move to MN without the sc

 

Most of the tracks for autox or drifting are in the south suburbs, while there's a full course road track a few hours north of the city. The local autox club that was linked earlier hosts events at a training track and a couple of parking lots (amusement park and baseball stadium).

 

yeah i've done a lot of parking lot events here, mostly what we have without getting too strict on the scca rules.

 

Go VIKINGS!!!! Keep on losing and maybe you can be LA's problem then... So tired of being disappointed by the vikings year in and year out. I've had a chance to see the vikings go to the Super Bowl twice in my lifetime, but they blew it in 98 and again in 09. So now we're back in another rebuilding season and it's just getting old...

Yeah, they suck. I'm not a huge fan, but I still watch them when there's nothing else on. It's weird, but I think the NFL has it out for the Vikes. They just can't catch a break.

Yay! Got a break from hockey practice tonight! w00t! This weekend is a tournament. Brandon is doing pretty well for his 4th week in. Hard to believe it, but proud nonetheless.
