who else got their property tax statements today?

my house only went up 10%... didn't realize I was in the 1% needed to pay my fair share.

our farm land taxes went up about 30% across the board.... and in CG we continually elect these f^ckers that keep on keeping on raising taxes

Sooo back to my van problems!.....I went to Tires Plus here in the woodhood, they suggested for me to replace the ECM ($1300 on their end)! Got one calibrated and sent to me for $149.00!

When I strated up the van got a misfire on cyclinder 2 and took it back to Tires Plus! I got a douche bag of a guy trying to tell me well its a new problem so we will have to charge you another 99.95...I said that!

5min After telling him I wasn't paying **** (cause its 6 months warranty if problem exists)....he told me he'll look at it but most likely its a new problem that I'll have to get charged for. A few hours later he calls back and tells me its the new ECM.....Psshhh yea right; and reasoning he gave is from a list of problems on a mechanic site !

So I finally decide to look at the engine myself......and look what we have here; those idiots left the coil/injector sensor for cylinder 2 unplugged when they first looked at it!....How the F*CK did he miss that obvious problem (its literally right in front of the engine).....ugh I should have just gone to my mechanic in STP.

In the end the van rides a little better, but I need to check a few things myself. Like the wire harness. There goes $100 dollars that I could have wasted going out DT....or on a part for the Z!

Sorry I just felt like releasing this level of stupidity somewhere.

Anyways I really hope they don't do that to the Supra, but I think we can all agree that the LFA is the true Supra reincarnation!

Miss? or intentially leave unplugged in hopes of replacing another part for $1300?

Stop electing those schmucks.

I think our value went down over $10k, but our actual property tax increased by about $12. I know that the taxes are always a year behind the assessments, so this year it might actually go down.

Dang that sucks, working on saturday is never bueno....

that turbo set up looks to be a remote set up correct? if i were to remote set up i'd remote it all the way to the back, so if it decides to detonate it doesn't take out my trans and engine... these guys make a kit specifically for the 350, a guy i work with has one set up on his vette.

so you have a lot of experience with these turbo kits?
The APS kit is not a remote mount like the STS... and not sure of this turbo detonation you speak of???

I have installed a few kits. my real only complaints about the aps single would be the sump setup and the crossover pipe. but for $3300, you'll get a lot of bang for your buck

Detonate? As in air and fuel combust before its supposed to causing a lot of damage....
As far as the expertise I'm going from expertise of others, he had a twin set up on his vette prior and had detonation occur. Got a new motor put in, wasn't going to turbo again, but was told about sts from someone in his club. He got it and hasn't had any problems since...

Detonation has nothing to do with the type of turbo setup or placement, sounds like your buddy had a bad tune.

I'm "working" today also. I'm on call for the next 24 hours.

I forgot to take a day off on Friday, so it looks like I'll be playing peaknuckle in the office.

Yeah, my kids would get excited in the Z when I would get on it and do the hard shifts.
