So.... What's your final decision Aaron?

Tell me more.
My god, that was confusing. I hate plans that differ so greatly from phone to phone or company to company.
I pay about $135 a month for 2 phones with an unlimited data plan. I'm ready to switch to something else next month or January.
Then again, I might NOT need a phone at all next year if things go my way...
So do you have spare brakes laying around?
Damn you, Greg. I only get 15% or so through the federal govt deal. WTF!
What is that?

that will be a HUGE leap in pricing... unless you are able to get a discount.
I would like to go to verizon, but it would equate to 200+/month for my two lines and be limited in terms of talk/data...
I just jumped ship from ATT and went to straight talk. I get the same coverage as I had with ATT, but unlimited talk, text, data* (they do throttle apparently so more like 2-3 gb of data) for 45/month per line. seeing speeds of 1.5 - 5mps.. mainly around 2.5-3.5mps. plenty fast enough for my needs. I had enough of contracts and subsidized phones. 70/month savings over 2 yrs goes a long way to buying phones outright.
with ATT I was paying about 80/line for a 700 minute family share plan with unlimited text, and 2gb data.

as far as the brakes go, I tried to send payment on the alcons last night. CC company declined the payment due to exchange of funds to british lbs and time of day... kind of felt like it was the universe telling me not to buy them. Now you say get the wilwoods..... ah! conflicted.
my plan was to get the alcon fronts, and just new rotors and pads in the rear, or maybe get the rear wilwoods.... all I know is I hate driving the car because of the brakes and want to get it resolved asap

I'll break it down for you. I have two lines with data
straight talk - unlimited everything for $96/month (including tax)
ATT - 700 minutes shared, unlimited text, 2GB data on each line $163/month (including tax)
Verizon - just checked out their new shared plan and it looks like it will be about the same as ATT - 150+taxes for my needs (unlimited talk, text, 4GB shared data). not bad considering when I went into my last ATT contract, verizon would have been over 200/month
and to put this into perspective, you can get a years worth of data plan in europe for as low as $60
So do you have spare brakes laying around?

Getting old really sucks. I don't like all the aches and pains.
Need to go see the chiro soon and maybe even spring for a 30 minute massage to loosen up some muscles and joints.

Brakes - they're important.
I'd like to upgrade the rear brakes and get slotted rotors and new pads. I think I have a spare set of Hawk pads in my garage. Hell, both the Z and the van need an upgrade. Why not, right?

strained my bicep tendon a couple weeks ago during a workout (very front facing part of the shoulder). scared to even get under a bench bar. I have been going hard on deads and squats, but I have some tendinitis in my right arm that is killing my grip. Squat days stay with me for almost 6 days now. stiff knees and tight hamstrings are the norm. I am pushing good weight, but would like to get my bodyweight down and that has become next to impossible despite lifting 5 days a week and cardio 6 days.
.... long story short, sucks getting old'er

Nope, still the same number I've had for over a decade.
