Also, ls2 is nice but any lsx platform is easily retarded on NA...i almost bought a supercharged triple black 2000 vette over trans but no fkn way, I stand by the t tops, once again they make me and ppl smile.

Also, Fbodies have basically bottomed out in valuation, if I considered getting rid of mine I will always make bank on it. The 00-07 vettes are still declining hard, wait a year....or do my fav old trick sweep in w an assload of cashand do the grab and go out of season or off the cuff...always a good way and cash talks.

Ps went for a bit of mudding in the truck during and after my landscaping ****, fk I love my trucks, great toys these pavers and ripping up 1200 sqft alone w landscaping rock included isnt a one man job but ya know turn and burn 24/7

Greg, I've always wanted a Vette. I shopped around years ago, but I would call my ins co and give them the VIN to get me a quote. After I heard the rates, I said forget about it. Too expensive.

 

Trans Am was more than the vette btw...vettes are actually cheaper than z too, its bc of the population thats owns them vs z's, stangs etc.

 

See that's kinda the point, you kinda jumped to a conclusion there. I never said anywhere that I wanted to run them on an open public road. My intention was to take them to BIR for a day and mess around there. I know the price for public street racing and learned my lesson a long while ago after 2 weeks in sherburne county jail and revoked license for 2 years. And yea I know n2o is the cheapest fastest way to add some power to your car and many consider it a cheap cheat and u do risk the chance of detonation but that's the reason why I was asking stock2autocrozz questions about it is so he can give me some advice of how I can push 100shot and take the precautionary steps to make sure It don't detonate, or have a low chance of doing so. And even if it did I wouldn't just screw someone over by selling it in that condition. Ill just pm stock2autocrozz now if I need advice so I don't offend anyone and to avoid people jumping to there own conclusions.

I think a lot of it got misinterpreted through too much excitment in that message about the N20. A lot of people on here can give you advice as some have tuned their Z's for specific specs (drifting, speed, handling)and can give you direction...like^^...I don't believe there's a need to feel out of place or as if you can't give your opinion or make a statement. SMS/emails/etc messages can be interpreted differently by anyone.

Happy endings - we called the police non emergency line and someone had reported him missing, so they gave us the owner's info. They only lived a couple of blocks away. Thank goodness since the dog was barking his fool head off.
