Howdy-have an '05 with a tired OE top which is due for replacement. I don't really care for the type(canvas?) that all the cottonwood tree's cotton sticks to-so probably a vinyl type similar/same to OE would be good. Who in a reasonable radius of the Twin Cities does a good job with this at a reasonable cost? thanks-Dan ps-didn't see where the new post button was

I volunteered to go with you guys a few times but never made it through. Also volunteered for one that leaves this summer/fall but havent heard anything. I was there when we closed the gates for Iraq, might as well try to close out Afghan as well.

About the best in the TC for this type of work. Cheapest isn't the best when dealing with the Z's top, lots of factors when replacing it and easy to screw up the top and all the mechanisms/bracing.

Anyone going to the Automotive Concepts "Block Party" on Saturday? I'm thinking I'm going to stop by before the Twins game and maybe see about some prices on some things and check out some cars. Speaking of which, any first hand reviews for getting windows tinted? This Z just doesn't look right without that

I'm planning on going to the AC show after C&C. I'll have to check and see what time everything is happening.

Thanks SR71 for the word on Dick and Ricks-if you've used them, any idea as to likely price range and who's their experienced 'go to' guy on a Z- at which of the shop locations? thanks-Dan

No idea on the price to fix, that's something that has lots of variables to it that you need to talk to them about. My sister had work done by them back in the 90's lol and their is a guy on here who just had his seats done by them and also gave a great review too. I was actually hired by them a few years ago to do interior work but ended up changing fields so I turned them down, but as far as locations go just call them and they will say which shop to go to for your needs. Their techs in the past would actually float between the two locations depending on work load and needs.

lol ^ speaking of getting ****ed. I'll have to put that window tint on hold for a bit because *drum roll please* well, let me just ask whats a good and affordable clutch/flywheel combos for street use?
And after a week of finally getting to park in m garage (that i spent 2 weeks cleaning, and dropped a grand on a new garage door) my roommate decided that hes going to park/store his somewhat driveable T/A in there.......oh boy im so happy right now!
